GMT Master II vs Milgauss
Hi guys,Only just joined this forum and need to ask this tbh! I wandered in to my local watch shop (not authorised dealer) and saw a black face Milgauss and a two tone GMT Master II and have fallen in love with both!I already have two cheapish watches that were my first buys and also a Tag Carrera Calibre S which was my first big step so don't particularly need another one but very much want one! My dilemma is do I spend the money on a watch or leave it in the bank. Im 20 and still live at home with no desire to move out to be frank, but will do in several years time. I have enough disposable money there that isn't really doing anything except collecting tiny interest and would happily spend the money if I knew I could sell it without making a loss in a fews years time. The Milgauss is is listed for ¡ê3650 and the GMT is ¡ê5250 (both GBP). When it comes to the watches the Milgauss is quite similar to my Tag in colour so my preference would be the two tone GMT which is a little bit differ

....and now the wait begins!
Well, i've gone and done it! I've owned numerous makes of watch (and still own many) but i've decided to trade my Milgauss for a 104. I suppose it was a matter of time as my strap box has numerous 24mm straps (Heroic18, Strap Culture, Toshi) bought on other forums as they were reasonably priced, just waiting for the opportunity for use. The signs were there really, eh! So, i'll shortly be popping my Panerai cherry (and my WTF posting one!). I must say, i've not been this excited about a watch's arrival for some time. I've seen so many Pams for sale and researched them to death before deciding that my Milgauss would bite the bullet. I'll have another one again so it's not that bad. So, the wait.

1912 Woman's (so i think) Longines Pocket Watch. What is it worth, and is it gold?
I found this pocket watch and was wondering what is it worth? I can't seem to find markings that tell if it is gold or even what the karat is. I am going to bring it to a jeweler this weekend and see what they say. But I would also like to hear your expertise as well.If anyone is interested in purchasing I am looking to sell after I get a valuation.

So, when selling a watch...
...where is a good place to post it? I hang out at Poor Man's Watch Forum and have sold things there. I am going to sell off a Hamilton of mine, but part of me feels like I should post it here so you guys can get a crack at it as it isn't one you see often. Help ! Vulcain watch turns out to have Peugot movement !
So, I sold a watch on the bay, and I had never opened the back.....and the guy who wrote it ( from Poland) just wrote me that it has a Vulcain dial and the case and movement are from peugot .......now, lucky for me he didn't pay much for it, but just wanted to check with the vast storage of knowledge that lives here, to make sure that it's a marriage, not the way Vulcain usually puts it watches out ......I will refund the guys money no problem, but why on earth would someone put something like this together, Vulcains that are simple stainless steel, about 35 years old, and are NOT Crickets, are simply not that valuable ......?????
