Bell & Ross BR0392-WH-C-D wrist watches news:
Now that I've acquired my two new Rolex watches, I thought it wise to get an insurance rider on them. Our current home insurance is with American Family Insurance...their quote was $1.65 per $100 valuation. To cover both of my watches, the rider premium would be $512.00 per year, which seems quite high to me.Do any forum members have advice regarding insurance? Any recommendations as to insurance companies that would be lower than what I've been quoted? Anyone have experience with American Family regarding loss or damage claims? The rider quoted covers all perils, including theft, mysterious loss, damage, etc. and would pay replacement cost, not current value, and, since the watches are covered under a rider there is no deductible. I like the coverage details, but I think $1.65 per $100 valuation is a little high...somewhere I read to expect to pay about $1.20 per $100 valuation.Any input would be appreciated.Saul
OK, if you have not seen the new Travolta film (from Paris with Love...HEAVY ACTION MOVIE :cool:) GO SEE IT!!!The only spoiler I will say is this: Travolta has his Breitling stolen at gun point..Ya gotta watch close to see it. There are no close ups of it but if you look real close and pay attention, you will see a sweet SS breitling. I am unsure of the model...Go see the movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Does a 4 year old Seiko Kenetic still charge while wearing the watch, but with the crown pulled all the way out? Also, I heard somewhere that you can lay a Seiko Kenetic in top if a toothbrush charger, and that will rapidly charge it...is this true?
I've just got back from 3 weeks away to find a package waiting for me. Since my last internet purchase burned me, I thought I'd post a few pics and see if any of you guys see anything suspect... This watch came from a reliable source unlike my last one, and the AD that resized it for me yesterday didn't say anything, but after my last experience I'm not so sure if I trust some AD's and their ability to spot a fake. Any help is much appreciated! Here it is;Cheers guys. Ben.
Hi All. Looking to pick up another Patek. This one quite different from the 5524 recently acquired. Just wondering everybody¡¯s thoughts on having this reference alongside a yellow gold, DD 40 silver motif dial. Keep in mind.... casual dress 99% of the time¡ Jeans, polos, Chino¡¯s, leather penny loafers, etc.¡ All thoughts and opinions are appreciated¡ Thank you
