Breitling 785 D wrist watches news:
Now I know that I've read at least a couple of threads about this .....but I wanted to run this idea by before I pack for Michigan .....With a Dremel, those felt cones and wheels are just too easy to damage the case with .....but I also have this things.....their made of what looks to be white cotton fabric, and there are several layers just basted together .....would that be too hard on a gold filled case used with something like Simichrome? Right now, IU use Simichrome on a very soft toothbrush for those nooks crannies and crevases.....and a piece of 100% knit cotton that doesn't unravel to polish the bulk of the case.....using Simichrome.....and it does a pretty good job, but not a great job .......I aspire to greatness.....and I have a Dremel, and those white cotton wheely thingys .....but I don't want to burn through cases either !
Hi guys,I've been a lurker for a while and it's finally nice to join. I just had a question regarding size. For instance I'm very interested in getting the new AP ROO Forged Carbon Black but needed dimensions if you don't mind. Sorry if it's a stupid question.1) What is the exact diameter of just the crystal itself?2) When measuring AP watches when it says 44mm-is this just the case or case+crown and pushers? I have a picture here and if you don't mind could someone please help with these 3 dimensions as shown by the coloured lines? Thank You very much!!!!!Sean
Should there be a break in the chapter ring of the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch? I was wondering if the ring is cracked or if there is a break that should be there? The watch is brand new. Please see pic attached. Thanks in advance for any replies.
Hello ladies and gents! I'm kinda new to luxury watches and have been bitten by the Panerai bug and have $4,500 I can spend on my first one. I've tried to do research and have been a little overwhelmed by all of the options, limited editions, etc.So mnow I'm asking for your advise. Which models do you like in my price range and why? Do I absolutely need to purchase new or is pre-owned recommended (how quickly do they typically need servicing)?I'm looking to make a purchase soon so any assistance you care to offer is greatly apreciated. Thank you!
I¡¯m looking to buy a bracelet on eBay. With the watch itself I can take the back off to see for myself if the watch is genuine but with a bracelet, I can¡¯t tell fake from gen. Is my best bet to take the bracelet to an AD and if I do what is the consensus as to whether these guys can tell a fake bracelet from a genuine bracelet?Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
