Omega 3855.75.12 wrist watches news:
If one could set a dollar amount to looks and style alone, the Timex Expedition Military Field T498759J would be worth a heck of a lot of money. Not because it uses faux materials to appear as though it were a luxury watch, nor gadgets and gizmos to feign tech. It doesn't even really reinvent or depart from the typical field watch symbol and layout vocabulary. What is does it much more simple and elegant¡it just gets everything right with subtle twists. The case is classic, the dial is basic yet finessed enough to be interesting, the hands are standard shapes made unique and the strap pulls everything together to make a great watch out of the box¡and, more to the point of the post, it costs a mere $45 dollars. If you have the watch bug, and I know you do if you are reading this, you'll likely grab one just cause; I know I did.At the core of the Timex Military Field's (we need to invent a good nickname for this watch¡) look is a monochromatic matte steel case and matching dial. So, first let me say I am pretty new to participating actively on the forum, but have been lurking around here for a while and learned a lot reading threads. I check WUS at least a couple times a week now. Based on the quality of people participating I am very excited in sharing with you my story. IMG_4351S.jpgIMG_4358s.jpgIMG_4353s.jpgIMG_4363s.jpgIMG_4364s.jpgMy dad knows my love for watches and a couple Christmas ago he surprised me by giving me one of his watches. The story is that about 25 years ago he remarried and that his new wife as I learned it back then was in the jewelry business when he met her. One day as I got casually invited over to her house, I saw that my dad was wearing an absolutely amazing watch from which I couldn¡¯t take my eyes off. I then asked what it was and he said proudly that his wife had given him this watch which had been in her family for a long time. The watch was a killer to me, did know much about Vintage watches back then but I could tell from the

I purchased a speedy bracelet from ebay for my speedy pro 3570.50. Paid a pretty penny for it too. The bracelet is the older style 1498 with 840 end links.I am trying to figure out whether it is genuine or whether I got suckered into a fake.Reason why I feel something is not right is the clasp. The clasp is very stiff. It actually hurts my thumb trying to open the clasp, and it hurts my wrist when trying to lock it in. It is bloody tight! Are the omega clasps meant to be this bloody tight?
cgi.ebay/1-Omega-Speedmas...QQcmdZViewItemWhat do you think? Is this a decent watch to bid on? It is pretty much what I'm looking for in terms of case and crystal. Thanks.
