- I was pleasantly supprised. This watch is stunning. It looks even better in person that on the website. I have had people look at the watch and think is was a $1000.00 watch. I really love it!

- I received this as a gift for Christmas and as soon as I opened the box I dropped my jaw because it was so lovely. I love that the oval is a little off in shape. It gives it a very contemporary feel while still maintaining elegance and simplicity. This watch goes with everything from casual to formal attire and is going to be one of my favorites!

Good morning all. How can I verify serials numbers through AP website. How does it work? I am buying my first AP from unknown dealer to me from another country and would like to verify serials as a first step via their website. Finally, if the watch from 2013 brand new do I need to service it?thanks
Came across a post with this picture a while back when I was oogling over 5164 pics and deciding whether to go for one (which I did). However, its just a grab from Instagram and no details...anyone know how easy it is to put a 5167 bracelet onto a 5164?Is it as simple as sourcing one and putting it on? Any conversions needed? Different pins? etc etcI'm much more a fan of the rubber strap than I ever thought I'd be (and admit it was a positive factor in the consideration to purchase) but I do like to change things up from time to time. Will seem like a different watch and no need to flip for another Orig post:.rolexforums/showthrea...=324902&page=2
My eight year old was mesmerized when I told her that my watch is waterproof to 50 meters (gmt iic). Then I showed her the DSSD dial on the internet. Her question was very serious: ¡°Dad, do you think that watch can go one inch deeper than 3,900 meters?¡± Does anyone know? This might be my chance to get her to like watches.
About three months ago, I purchased a 1999 Submariner date from an estate sale. The owner was an older gentleman who had quite a watch collection. He was selling a few other watches and I noticed that they all come with services records. Come to find out that the sub was never serviced. It keeps pretty good time but gains around six minutes a month. The watch also looks great save for a tiny crack in the pearl on the bezel. I don't go diving with it and visually the tiny water proofing bands on the crown look ok. Should I be worried and run out to service it or just enjoy it since it seams to be doing fine. Soon it will be 20 years old without a service or a polish.
