- I decided to get a nice watch for myself after my old one broke. I decided on this one and it has been flawless. It looks great, keeps time to the second matched to an atomic clock every day and did I say it looks great? My only regret is that I did not get the automatic version but I'll save that for next time.

IWC IWC 28401 wrist watches news:
AP 26320 TPD required
Ok guys so I've finally pulled the trigger. I'm getting the AP 26320 rose gold (silver dial) on leather strap. Paid advance token money today and will be getting my watch in september .. I'm excited, can't wait!!! Will be posting pictures on a incoming thread when I get it :)So I will be putting the watch on a winder, does anyone know what are the turns per day required and in which direction to wind the watch. I was trying to search on google but didn't get an answer. I know I know its too early to be asking these questions but want to know before it arrives. Thanks

How much did you lose on average?
Not particularly related to Patek...Since I switched from quartz to mechanical watches back in the summer of 2012 (now about 5 years), I have lost about 20 percent of what I invested so far by flipping watches. Which is on average about 4 percent per year.I calculate it as follows: amount spent on mechanical watches minus amount recuperated from selling some of them (ignoring depreciation or appreciation of the watches currently owned but also ignoring inflation or deflation of money).Using this calculation, how much did you lose so far in percentage? Curious to know what people in general lose over a longer period of time (5+ years). Please exclude non-mechanical watches (e.g. Fitbit, Apple Watch, Casio).CheersV.

5164 or 5167
hi trf! i have consolidated again (for the nth time) and have been left with a journe bleu, 5711, jlc geophysic, dd40 green and an sd4k.i owned the 5167 before but disposed of it (and regret) to get a piece. i find myself going towards the 5164 this time round since i have the 5711.that being said, what is the difference in terms of wear? the 5167 was just right on the wrist; maybe a little small. is the .8mm increase in size and weight noticeable?with my current lineup i feel inclined to get the 5164.help pleaseSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Refund after price increase?
Well, I didn't expect this. Was thrilled to pick up my 5960 from my AD less than 7 days ago and now it's worth $3,800 less. I jumped on board PP from Rolex about a year ago. I currently have two and two more on the way.I did the 'right' thing by Patek and bought from an AD. I've been walking on cloud nine since I bought it, but I'm sure you can appreciate my frustration - especially when you hear from ADs that the price will be going up due to the Swiss Franc, etc.By the incomings, I know there are others that are in this position. Have you done anything about it? Are you going to?Thanks for listening - this was therapeutic :)
