Sorry, about this regular question – but I always forget the correct answer My wife would like to replace the strap with a bracelet on her 116519 white gold Daytona. Is this possible, or is it only possible the other way – from bracelet to strap?ThanksRegards from Denmark Jesper
It may just be the market but things aren't looking good for trades and selling. I am not trying to be negative, I am just trying to prove a point. When I got my first Rolex Sub-No date in 1992 I wore it for 9 months and traded it in for what I paid for it when I upgraded to a GMTII. Now, you will lose 1/4 to 1/2 unless it is a stainless Daytona when you drive it off the lot(so to speak). My dad paid $1200 for his first Sub-No date he bought in 1980. When I bought one in 1992 it was $2000. That is and increase of $800 dollars in 12 years. Now 16 years later they are $5450, that is an increase of $2450. Is it just me or is this pushing the ridiculous, it is the same watch except it has the COSC stamp. Of course all Rolex's have went up as much. I love Rolex and I love the idea of buying one new from an AD, but in looking at the pre-owned market for my S/P YM that I bought new last May and looking at the market of all Rolex's but the Stainless Daytona. I think the depreciation is as bad as
Quick question for the Omega experts....What is the current MSRP for a Speedy Pro (3750.50.00)? I saw $4,050 recently on a google search but then heard that Omega just had a price increase. I'm thinking of adding this iconic watch to my collection. Would appreciate this info if you have itThanks guys
Hi TRF,From the previous thread that I asked 5712g or 5726a, I decide to go for 5712 which is wear more comfortable on my 6.2 wrist. Now I'm in the finally decision, I can't decide between 5712R or 5712G.The thing is I'm about 26 yrs and not wearing suit or formal wear. Please advice and convince me which one is nicer.Thank you very much.
