As told in this thread More finds I'm in the process of restoration of my recently found Rolex 1500 Date...I had my first talk with the AD Rolex Service, and they told me the following, concerning the bigger issues with the watch...1. About the crystal, No problem, it can be replaced2. About the dial, the part has to be ordered from factory, they are now working in the estimate that will be around $350...3. The bracelet can be restored, cleaned and bring back to lifebut I have an issue with this, and that's why I'm asking for your advice and/or opinionsAltough it's the original bracelet, it's some sort of "small", what I mean is that the clasp is just 13 mm wide, like a ladies' watchAs for the serial number of the watch, it has been manufactured in 1965, so I don't want to put a bracelet from a newer model, because the watch will somehow loose it's vintage value, right?So, I'm considering to swap the bracelet for a leather strap, what do you think? Planet Ocean- advice
Hi-- I am interested in purchasing a Planet Ocean watch for myself-- 42 mm, black bezel. Also thinking of buying an automatic SS Seamaster for my wife. Can anyone recommend an AD to work with? I have been checking out the Ben Bridge sale, but they do not appear to be willing to go beyond the 20% discount.Thanks in advance.Roger

How to make a decision in one of two..Need help!
Hi everyone, long stories short, I need help! And here comes the story..I used to have many (watches) for long time and had really enjoyed them all separately. And then I have decided to find my the one and the only, and gave my decision on my grail..and got married with her..and have had so many good times together..had it with me every single day without any hesitation..that was a miracle. She was mine, and I was so happy..I was not even looking at any others, and thinking I'll never look for one another..never and ever.. Everything was fine..Than I met her! WTF!Started to thing about her more and more day by day, than realised that, its not gonna be that easy to forget.. she could be mine. but hey, I already had my precious..What was happening?
