Chopard is the latest luxury company to use the internet for sales of their products. They join a long list of competitor brands such as Cartier, Montblanc, and Bell & Ross who are using the internet's reach and 24/7 availability to sell their products to interested consumers. I pointed out 4-5 years ago that online sales for luxury giants direct to consumers would be inevitable. Each few months more and more brands set up shop online with their own direct-to-consumer e-boutiques. Most people win, but arguably hurt are traditional brick-and-mortar independent retailers who will lose out on a lot of sales. Broken Citizen Blue Angels watch?
I have a Citizen Blue Angel watch that is not working correctly. The hour hand will not set/move and stays at the 12 o'clock position no matter what. All other functions seem to work. Any idea what is wrong?

Finally Got A Cockpit
I've wanted a Cockpit since I first saw a picture of one. I had a chance to pick one up recently and couldn't pass it up. I think this is my favorite time piece I've owned. The dual date wheel really sets this model apart from the rest and snaps into place right at midnight. My lighting wasn't great but here are a few quick shots of it. The pics don't do the detail of the dial any justice.

Opinions on Patek 5726
Hello,My first post here. I am saving up for my first Patek Nautilus for next year and will like to know what do you all think about the Patek 5726? I saw the timepiece in the Hour Glass Boutique in Singapore and it's selling for SGD53K including tax ( about USD43K ) for a Stainless steel model with leather strap and it looks gorgeous. I find the 5711 too plain looking while I have not much use for chrono and don't like the dual time. Is it worth paying a bit more for the full stainless steel bracelet? And should I go for a RG or WG version if exist? Here are some shots I took. I am also wondering if prices in Europe will be better. Thanks in advance!
