Michele MWW12B000001 wrist watches news:
"All hands on Deck! Everyone is required to meet the newest member of the crewGentlemen, I've called you here so that you can meet the new clock. His name is Bremont, and he is going to be our new B-1 Marine Clock aboard the ship. You are ordered to treat him like one of us. He is better looking that most of you aboard, and I say don't say this lightly - Bremont's life if probably worth more than any of yours. Perkins! Yes you. I am assigning you to Bremont maintenance and security duty. You are required to check in with Bremont to wind him each 4 weeks. You aren't allowed to forget. He is mechanical, but not perpetual. Also, and just as important - in the event the ship goes down, or we are in a some particularly nasty weather - you are to secure this life preserver around Bremont. He is water tight, but won't float. I can't afford to lose Bremont. You will value him over your, and other people's lives! Do not disappoint me...."That is pretty much how I imagine life aboard a ship woul
Can anyone tell me definitively whether this is a Hamilton case or a contract case? The watch has a caliber 987 movement.

It would be cool to see what could be done with this besides it's main purpose. the fact that it tells time is just a bonus.Would this be an Homage to a bottle opener?
I'm thinking of servicing my yachtmaster and perhaps others after 13 years of ownership. The AD, Benari in Exton, PA I recently landed an SD43 from has in house capabilities. I'd kinda prefer to use them as I feel my salesman Joel is quite knowledgeable and and great to deal with and feel like I can give detail direction plus i think it would be turned around quicker. My sense is that if I bring to NYC they will tend to do what they think needs to be done and decide on their own. Am I way off? This would be a trial run for my Kermit as it scares me to send it in and have them switch the bezel, all though it's in great shape, or something I didn't direct them to do like maybe polish it. My yatchmaster and Kermit are running great but feel it may be time for a preemptive general tune up. I guess I'm due but part of me also thinks why mess with it and the expense. I would like a polish and spa treatment on my YM though and hence my desire to send it in. So I'm looking for general thou
I think the red date stands out nicely but just wondering. Thanks,
