Audemars Piguet 25860ST.OO.1110ST.05 wrist watches news:
San Francisco¡ªSeptember 16, 2015. Renowned watch brand, Breguet and its President & CEO, Mr. Marc A. Hayek, honor its 240th anniversary this year with a milestone¡ªthe largest exhibition of Breguet timepieces ever to be shown in the American continent. "Breguet: Art and Innovation in Watchmaking" will open at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco on Saturday, September 19, 2015 and run through January 10, 2016. Part of the museum's regular 2015-2016 programming, it is arguably the most expansive collection of timepieces by a single brand ever to be curated by a major art museum. On the evening of Wednesday, September 16th, an estimated 300 guests of Breguet ¨C members of the press as well as friends of the brand from across the U.S., Asia and Europe ¨C were invited to the Legion of Honor to preview the exhibition "Breguet: Art and Innovation in Watchmaking" at an exclusive evening gala. The evening began with guided tours of the exhibition by curator Martin Chapman, curator at the Fine
I have been trying to get my hands on as many Hamiltons as I can afford........and this is the latest .......it for sure needs a new crystal.....and I have yet to see how well it runs as the first thing I did after I took incoming photos, was to remove the nasty band that was on it .....and I have just finished traisping through the catalogs looking to see what model it is .....and I think......it's a K-419 from 1961.......it is very hard to tell a real watch from a drawing ...so I am hoping if I am off the mark that someone will steer me right .....I do quite like the 2 toned dial ....., and while it's not in the greatest condition, from the type it is ...it's gonna stay the way it is .....the texture looks to be a costly redial.....perhaps a new crystal will make a big difference ......this was taken after I thought I cleaned it really well.......wrong ......but here's where I started .....and this is after at least an hour of cramping my fingers I was gonna show a couple more ....bu
I'm in love with this, I find it so classy and fascinating, despite it color face, what it is what I like the most of the whole watchEdouard Lauzieres Wall StreetPictures, property of Montres Edouard Lauzieres S.A.At this way, I will be buying the whole EL collection
I¡¯ve had some disturbing thoughts. Sixty Minutes had an article this Sunday about the ¡°Data Miners¡± present and observing us as we navigate the internet and visit our favorite sites. The sheer number of observers stunned me. On PBS News Hour tonight this discussion was again visited. So¡How prudent is it to display our prized collections here on WTF? I would draw your attention to a post by Premier Currency on 12/12/2013 titled, State of the collection ¨C December 2013, an enviable collection indeed! There are also Donuts wonderful posts. I¡¯ve recently noticed that pop up adds in the margin of news sites I visit have begun offering me watch sales sites. Are we safe? How safe? Am I willing to display my next acquisition? Just thinking¡.what do you think?
Hi everyone,Even though i have quite a collection of watches i would like to buy some more vintage watches. So i would appreciate some advice on what makes to look for that are quite reasonable on price and maybe increase in value over time. I already have an Omega Seamaster, a Lord Elgin Aquamaster, an Elgin pocket watch from 1919 and a Swiss Roamer from 1935 but would love to get some more so your advice would be great Many thanks, Bob.
