In a nutshell, I think the watch is just 'okay'. I use it as a weekend watch for outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking, etc.
My first thought out of the box was it seems cheap for a $235 watch. Looks cheap too. I expected it to be a heavier watch but its very, very light weight. It seems to function okay and I like the sunset / sunrise feature as well as compass / barometer feature.

I sort of expected to be blown away by the watch based on the reviews but I'm just luke warm on it. I guess that's more due to looks than the functionality. (i.e. looks cheap) Hopefully the watch is as durable as folks say it is. If that's the case, I'll be happy with it. Time will tell....

Hi Gang, have not posted for a while and thought I would send in a quick note and ask a question. Have not purchased a new watch for a while (as the wife might bury me in the back yard) and the time was due to get a new one, no not for me for my Father. Have always thought he would enjoy one but when I said something to him he would just say I don't think so. He is a very modest man and would never buy one for himself. So this year for Father's Day I thought I would give him one without him knowing of course. I think I found the perfect one, a 114200 Air King/Silver Dial/Domed Bezel. Very clean, understated, and most will not even know it is a Rolex, lack of cyclops and all. Visited my local AD whom I have purchased all mine, and he had just what I was looking for. Now to my question when looking through the booklets I noticed that it came with the Gold Service Booklet, the Green Rolex Oyster Booklet, BUT NO MODEL SPECIFIC BOOKLET, is this correct. I could not get the images of this watch out of my head. I actually wanted this last year when I bought the 5712. There was something I loved about being able to wear a PP no matter the weather and not worry about it getting wet or high humidity to ruin a leather strap!This watch is as comfortable a watch as I have ever had and extremely easy to read! Thought it was rather humorous.I just bought a couple Invictas this month 8926c5621just bought a Seiko SND219 this morning so its on is way. I plan on getting an Alligator or Ostrich black leather band with white stitching for it.I have an Emporio Armani AR-0243 (first decent watch) and a cheapo classic G Shock DW5600E-1V that has proved to be virtually indestructible except for the resin band that lasted 6 years through hell and back and through several hurricanes and work thereafter.Ive wanted to start collecting watches for awhile now simply because "I like watches". enough babbling here are few pictures..and this one isn't my picture but I just got a good deal on it this morning for $76 shipped from worldofwatches.com
