Breguet 5140ba/12/9w6 wrist watches news:
Lots of watch brands create special timepieces that are more eco-friendly than the rest of their collection, and sell them as special or limited edition pieces. Then you have brands like Casio that has naturally eco-friendly watches by design. With light powered movements that charge batteries instead of requiring them to be changes, the basic principles of the watch are eco-friendly. Casio didn't even need do anything special to accomplish that for this Go Green edition PAG110C-3 Pathfinder watch. It is certainly true that battery waste is harmful to the environment. To press the point, Casio is releasing a new Go Green collection of watches - and this Pathfinder model will lead the new pieces. The watches will each be in green (for the green message) and also come in packaging made of recycled materials. The pieces have all the features you expect in mid-range Casio Pathfinder pieces. This includes a durable case and strap, altimeter, barometer, compass, stopwatch, countdown timer, 5
Well guys, after being up until late last night trying to decide on the SVCS 003, I bit the bullet and went for the SARB033 (Black dial) with oyster bracelet instead. I was offered a pretty reasonable price on the SARB, besides, the price difference between the SVCS003 and the SARB033 was so small that getting the better detailed SARB version became a no brainer. Now I have to go and sell my SRP013K1. Here is my upcoming SARB033 (Borrowed pics):
I've got a standard 3570.50 caliber 1861 Speedmaster I bought at an AD a couple years ago.I was wondering, as the watch ages, will the hour markers on the dial ever start to go patina? Or is that an effect that you only get with the older-style watches?Or another way of asking it, did OMEGA change anything on the newer models that would prevent the hour markers from aging to a patina? Thanks!
Instead of the pins that were pushed out from one side to the other, Omega updated the new 8500 PO with this pin system. There are little screws covering the new pins. and these pins slide right out easily. No more pushing. The screws keep the pins in place - the pins keep the link in. No more messing with a pin pusher. Very easy. Here are the screws and pins and a shot of the screwed in link.Rob
