To commemorate the occasion, Romain Jerome has created a new watch, called Liberty DNA, whose dial contains actual fragments of the statue. The eight-year-old Swiss brand, based in Geneva, collaborated with The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to raising funds for restoration of the Statue and Ellis Island, and the Gold Leaf Corporation, which oversees the preservation and use of historic Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island artifacts, in developing the new timepiece, the latest in its “DNA of Famous Legends” portfolio. Need to ask for advice about whether to replace the inner (red) Omega watch box and the small wallet that holds the instructions, warranty, etc.I recently purchased an Omega Seamaster that was originally sold in 2002. The inner red box and wallet' are somewhat tattered--not just terribly so, but far from pristine. I was going to present this watch to one of my children as a present and was wondering if I should try to obtain a new--or newer and better looking--box, etc. What would you do if this were your situation? Where could I look to find a suitable box for sale? (Have tried the For Sale section of this and other watch fora without success.)Thanks for your input and advice.
