Seiko SSC210 wrist watches news:
Patek Philippe has had a close, continuous relationship with Tiffany & Co. since 1851. And back in November, Patek Philippe released the limited edition "Tiffany dial" 5396G annual calendar to celebrate the fifth anniversary of their boutique in Tiffany & Co.'s Fifth Avenue flagship (John Mayer goes into more detail on this collaboration here). Tiffany & Co. is the only co-branding Patek still offers, and this week we had a chance to visit the brand's new New York headquarters to see how these special dials are produced - and we even got to stamp one ourselves. 2 OF 8 Stamping The Dial While the 5369G is a limited edition piece exclusive to the Fifth Avenue Patek Philippe boutique in Tiffany & Co., many Pateks purchased at this location can have "Tiffany & Co." added to the dial. On some models the stamp is added as soon as the watches arrive in New York, while on others (often models which don't have an obvious pl
Hey guys!I found this Vintage Seiko in my bins last night, hoping you guys can tell me more about it....................Looks like it's from the 1970's perhaps ? ? ?It has this funky 9 sided crystal that is pretty scratched up but the rest of the watch is in fair condition.PLUS, it's running and keeping time too boot!I found a used leather 18mm brown Alligator band in another bin so I installed it just to wear it for awhile today. This watch probably came with a metal band I would imagine ? ? ? ? ?It's a 21 jewel automatic with a day/date feature, the day featured has two options, one in English and one in some other language. It has a brown/golden two tone dial.I searched hundreds of Seikos on the bay last night and I could NOT find another identical watch that has this brown/golden dial, nothing even close.Anybody know anything about this old Seiko ? ? ? ? ?I see that some vintage Seikos are worth a few bucks but most are pretty cheap to obtain.
Really nice to see such a bunch of friendly and knowledgable posters. I'll enjoy being here I've mostly been hanging out at WUS and the Gruen forum - can't believe I missed this one.FYI: I have, some Elgins (wrist watches), Walthams (1883 pocket and 1920s wrist), quite a few Benrus (mostly calendar pointers), a number of Gruens (a few Pan Ams, calendar, alarm and I quite like 460ss bumpers), a Columbus or two (pocket watches) and several New York Standard Chronographs. - Kris.
Since the members of this forum seem incredibly knowledgeable about everything AP, I wanted to get an idea how much it would cost to get a replacement bezel, movement servicing, and polishing from the Clearwater service center for my AP ROO Panda. I have done some research and from what I have read the bezel costs approximately $1900. I am assuming I would also need a new gasket as well.Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Love the bracelet, but since my SDc is best with it¡¯s bracelet, i want to -maybe only sometimes- be able to put the Daytona on a strap.Could you please let me have your input and inspiration?Something that works for me: (snatched from instagram)My watch currently:-via iPhone
