- In my opinion, this watch defines maturity and strength. The leather strap and black face that's highlighted by a steel outline represents a man that stands firm and have a great taste of quality. This is a beautiful duct!

Say hello the best looking Tissot since the Visodate 1957. This Basel 2011 release has gone completely unnoticed by, well, pretty much everybody and it wasn't until we saw the collection yesterday in New York that it caught our eye.? The Tissot T-Lord small second and date is fantastic looking, uses a really great movement, and the price is more than reasonable.? This watch is a sure-fired winner in our book.The T-Lord line from Tissot has been around for a while as part of the T-Classic collection, but something about the dial design - probably the use of two roman numeral markers at 12 and 6- prevented it from becoming a fan fan favorite.? Working man¡¯s Elgin.
Hi all.Here are some pics of my nephew¡¯s great grandfather¡¯s watch. About all I can tell from the serial # and plate configuration is it¡¯s from 1923 and a model 7.Very modest everyday timepiece. Probably provided him with a lifetime of good service and is still capable of doing the same today.The case is heavy with a patina that is a little yellow compared to the sterling I have. The marking is from the Crescent Watch Case Company and has no content stamp so I¡¯m thinking it's solid nickel. The Shubert book has a drawing of this very case at the start of the Elgin pocket watch chapter. Let me know if you can identify the grade and any other details. Thanks, Joel

Somehow "Papaya Monster" just doesn't work."Post-it Monster"???? I think not!"Carrot Monster"? Well, you don't need incredible eyesight to read this watch!"Pumpkin Monster"? Not quite."Orange Monster". Just right!This watch is so much fun to photograph, almost cartoonishly animated! The new Canon G9 is pretty nice also.

My first patek; and the journey that led me here.
I just realized i never did a proper incoming, please i hope you dont mind a long post.Story:It's been 3 years since i had an incoming last one was a watch my dad gave me and the first one was the Rolex submariner 114060.I was always happy with my rolex sub, i found my watch zen i said, then i read more about watches and had the guts to visit a patek boutique 2 years ago. i was so amazed at the quality of watches they offer. i read and read and appreciated the brand more. i said maybe if i focus on the goal of having a PP watch and not get distracted its possible.It was not easy but, Along the way i decided to buy my first patek and trying to avoid any impulse buy along the way was hard but i made it. had to save but at the same time prepare for my families future. was not born in a wealthy family and i had to work hard to be in my situation at present.I became a dad and my son is more than a year old now and he has taught me to be a better person, to be patient and loving, to not
