Jaeger LeCoultre Q2788520 wrist watches news:
I got a supposedly vintage Omega bracelet, form the bay, according to the seller, it's genuine Omega...It looks fine, but something I don't find good, and that's why I'm thinking is a fake is the following:The bracelet is gold plated, but it has the side of the links, stainless steel color (silver)I've thought that the gold plated should go everywhere, but honestly, I've never had a vintage bracelet, so maybe the technology back on those days, didn't allowed to "plate" the sides??? Also , the bracelet is stamped Omega, and the triangle/logo, and the number 12 in a circle, doesn't have any model number or so...Any experiences about this?Should I return the item?
Hello all,I'm trying to find a new crystal for my father's 1980's era Seiko automatic. The case bears the number 7009-5010 and information tells me that the part number is SAOW95ANOO. Can anyone help me with where to find one. Even Seiko has stated that they no longer carry the part.Any help would be appreciated.

Would you trade in a Jaeger MUT Moon, Reverso TT1931 and Geophysique? I don't wear them. Am I nuts?
I just saw a story on the Today show...A World War 2 bomber pilot was shot down and taken prisoner in Germany. On a whim he ordered a Patek Philippe watch and promising to pay for it when he was released. Four months later they sent him one at the POW camp! Fast forward, several years ago it was stolen...When the people at PP heard about it, they sent him a free replacement...anyway, the video is here....today/ Really cool story.
