Maurice Lacroix PT6168-SS002-131 wrist watches news:
After years of languishing as the often overlooked little brother in la famlia de Richemont, Baume & Mercier is coming back. Flying back, you might say. Leading the return to the company's former glory is a new flagship model, the Capeland Flyback Chronograph, reference 10006. This is a watch that merits more than a passing glance and, even for a self-confessed dive watch junkie, was one I didn't want to send back after a week on my wrist. The Very Best Of Baume, Born Again 2 OF 7 In 2011, Baume et Mercier gave the Capeland series a badly-needed reboot and the company looked to its past for inspiration, drawing from classic designs from the ¡®40s and ¡®50s. While the standard Capeland chronograph is handsome enough, the Flyback Chronograph is a near-perfect marriage of retro design cues with modern size and build. The watch's beauty is more than skin deep however, with a beautifully decorated unique flyback chronograph movement by La Joux-Perret. The whole package is bewitch
I recently got a sna765 watch. I just noticed the top button that actuates the stopwatch has noticeably more play in it than the bottom button that resets the dials. The top button also doesn't have as much of a noticeable click when pressed. This is my first seiko chronograph and I'm trying to see if this is normal. Thanks
So, I had a flashback to high school and bought a neat Universal LED watch on the bay for a tidy sum of .01. Yes, one cent, I was the only bidder!!! Only marking on watch is 30 M WR. Had a battery installed and it functions great but I can't figure out how to set it!!!! It has the typical four push buttons with the bottom left being the "mode" button. Any suggestions???? I already did the usual Google searches....
There are a few watches that keep singing to me, one of which is the 5235g. However, I still really love my 5712/1a (my first Patek, which has some meaning to me) and find my 5167ss to be extremely comfortable and versatile. With that in mind, and in keeping with the a smaller collection is better trend (for some, not all! --- and for what it's worth, I'm on that bandwagon as I just sold my JLC AMVOX5 and BP 50 Fathoms Aqua Lung edition, so I'm down to 4 watches): What are your thoughts about trading a 5712/1a and a 5167ss for a 5235g? There may be some $$ owed/received after the trade (?)... The other watches in the collection are a SDc and a Date Just (stainless, circa 2006), of which the latter really doesn't get much wrist time, but has sentimental value so it's a keeper. Appreciate your feedback.
Saw this at the La Jolla boutique and fell in love. Boutique claims it was a special order with limited production to about 50. It's not quite orange but not quite brown.
