The Color of Gold (I can't trust my eyes anymore)
I can't trust my eyes anymore.A while back, I posted a message about not being able to tell the difference between green gold and yellow gold. It turns out lots of people have trouble distinguishing, especially since case manufacturers used different formulas.However, I NEVER though I would have trouble telling the difference between WHITE gold and YELLOW gold. That is until today. A Ventuta Electric showed up today, and I assumed when I bought it, that it was yellow gold. But now that I look at it, I can't be completely sure. Is it possible the the Venturas in yellow gold are really pale? Or, is it possible that the Venturas in white gold can seem a bit warm in color?When I compare this watch to a Raleigh Plain in white gold fill, it looks very close. When I compare it to a Boulton in yellow gold fill, it looks really different. When I compare it to a Glasdstone in white gold fill, it looks close again, and when I compare it to a solid yellow gold Gilbert, the Ventura looks white agai
