Hello all. I am a new member here as well as new Omega Watch enthusiast. I just purchased a 2455.80 and couldn't be happier with it. In addition i am now shopping for a 2254.50 and am wondering if anyone can recommend a good AD. Ive considered grey market on the net, but would like the assurance it is authentic and the service guarantee. Also have heard something about 30% off around these forums, hehe. so ETA 2824-2 have 4 grade movementsEconomicalStandardElaboratedTopis there a way a begginer can know what grade movement he's watch have?the reason im asking this is becouse watch companies dont want to tell what grade ETA their using, *** some guy in another site, ask LUM TEC what kind of grade ETA 2824-2 their using for a particular model, LUM TEC seen alittle reluctant to answear the Question.after a week they did answear it, saying it was only the Standard version** so this gave me an idea i didnt have nothing to do so i email some watch companies asking them what grade ETA are they using ARCHIMEDESTEINHARTOLLECH & WAJSDEBAUFREARISTOis been 2 weeks and none have reply to my email..so this tells me that they are using the ECONOMICAL grade..

Joining The AP Family; My First AP!
I don't know how to properly convey my feelings on acquiring my first AP. This is sort of a big deal to me and quite the journey as I have wanted one for some time now but things kept getting in the way.I came very close to buying a 15400 blue dial last year but about a decade ago my father got his watches stolen which destroyed him and I felt I should get him a timepiece instead of indulging myself so I ended up getting him a JLC Grand Reverso Calendar.Fast forward to life getting in the way here and there with work and new housing and I lost interest in awhile as I kept wearing an Apple Watch for my active life. I always kept in the loop on the forums and other sites/blogs/youtube.My first nice watch was a new Milguass GV and subsequently I picked up a pre-owned Speedmaster Moonphase on rolexforums for fun. Is this 15400 too big for me?
I'm a huge fan of the 15202 but unfortunately I suffer from 6.3 wrists (16cm) :( however I wasn't going to let that stop me from trying it on at least. So off I went to the AD but was disappointed to hear that they didn't carry the jumbo. They did have a 15400 and I thought I'd just humour myself and I tried it on. Much to my surprise, the lugs and extended/integrated links did not hang over at all and it fit snugly around my wrist. The bracelet was too long but that was completely expected; I just pinched it back with my other hand.Anyway here are the pics. I was looking for your opinions on whether it looks too big for me overall. I'd appreciate any input and especially your candour.
