Bell & Ross BR0392-CERAM-MIL wrist watches news:
Hello,i want to buy a Breitling Jupiter Pilot 1988, but i'm not an expert and I don't want to buy a watch that is fake.Of course I read a lot of forums, but I don't know it for sure.Hopefully anybody can help me and specially if there's something that you think it's fake. Thanks in advance.Maikel
fellow watch experts,I am a relative neophyte when it comes to vintage watches. I have an opportunity to purchase a IWC 1950's 18k rose watch for $2,520.00 ? This is from a private collection. Aside from asking when it was last serviced, what other pertinent information should I know ? Additionally, does $ 2,520.00 seem reasonable ? The watch looks beautiful . Yours JM
Hello everyone, tomorrow I set off to Florida with all of my finances set up to purchase the watch I've wanted for many years. If you remember me, you'll recall that I plan to purchase a Rolex Submariner no-date. Well, I will be purchasing this watch within the next few days, but I got to thinking: In Naples, there are several AD's plus many very well regarded estate jewelry stores that sell high-end watches. Perhaps something else will catch my eye and when I put it on I will fall in love and change my mind. Has it ever happened to any of you where you walked into a store knowing you were buying a specific watch, only to change your mind and purchase another?I still plan on buying the Submariner, but am going try on the GMT Master II and possibly an Omega Seamaster. I'm very excited to update the folks on this site when I finally (two years+ after my first post) get my timepiece.
What is the retail price for the 5711 at your AD?I know they're usually not available, but i'm curious because I keep seeing pre owned ones being sold at what I believe is much higher than retail, or being sold at retail price for a pre owned one of 3+ years.Curious as to what the current retail price is.Do you think the price increase will effect Patek's pre owned market as well - not speaking strictly about the 5711 but in general..Just curious on this. Thanks guys!
Nothing profound or exciting by forum standards ....20 years ago today I bought this 16700.10 years ago I had it Rolex serviced.I should treat it to another service but it's going nicely and I couldn't subject it to spending it's birthday in the workshop.
