A few random photos from the road...
I drove down to the Miura Peninsula south of Tokyo yesterday to pick something up at a store. I was alone, so I took a few photos through my clearly dirty windshield; definitely not the typical tourist photos; and not necessarily set out in the order taken; but in case you might wonder what it's like to put on your Rolex watch and go for a drive on a sunny Sunday afternoon in Japan in a car worth less than your watch, here are a few random shots I took of what I saw (including my watch) while driving. I took the camera in order to make watch photos, but that's not so easy or safe to do when driving, as I was reminded as I settled into expressway traffic in my Honda Comfortable Runabout Vehicle (CRV); so I just pointed and shot whenever the opportunity presented itself. Most of the photos were out of focus or of things such as the door handle. After posting that my 2252.50 has been losing 5.4 seconds per day, some of you suggested I contact Maria at Omega and get the COSC certificate.I did, and it arrived and it is a real cool certificate, but honestly I'm not quite sure what I should be gleaning from it or how to apply the information to my SMP's accuracy.Any pointers will truly be appreciated.Thank you.Karl

Advice on Chase-Durer watch
Hello all-This is my first post here. I am looking for a sporty/chronograph and stumbled upon Chase-Durer out of Beverly Hills. I read that they were known to make 'military' watches for pilots. I was looking at the Mach 3. I've read from several review sites where some people complained about the band having to be replace in 2-3 years. First of all, has anyone has any experiences with these watches? Are they a good buy? Are they just another online watch company? The website makes it seem legit and the watch is pretty cool looking. New Speedmaster 9300 or 3573.50.00 Sapphire Sandwich
Hi AllI'm looking for some help to decide on my next watch. My thinking has some down to either a new Moonwatch Co-Axial 311.33.44.51.01.001 with the 9300 movement or the more traditional 'Sapphire Sandwich' Moonwatch 3573.50.00.I love the new movement and am keen to own an Omega with it. However, I do find watches with it rather thick to wear although, of the whole range, the Speedmaster deals with the thickness best IMHO. The new speedmaster is an expensive watch in respect to the manual wind 'Sapphire Sandwich'.What would you do???J
