What do you guys think of this auction?
I am pretty new to looking for watches on ebay, but have been watching a few auctions lately. I am thinking about getting an Omega Speedmaster (assuming I can get the wife to let me) and so have been watching the prices on ebay for a while.I have seen a few of these now, where the Speedmaster has a Seamaster case back, and yet the seller claims that the case back is original.I am really not up on all the things to watch out for with Omegas yet (or watches in general really) but am trying to learn. Cyma 14k gold watch ino please
Hi all. I have had this watch for many years, but have no idea what it is. A friend decided that he didn't want it anymore, and gave it to me. I figured it was just a regular watch, and put it in my jewelry box because it was old and neat. The outside back engraving is dated 12-25-54 and has 14K GOLD L&K stamped on the edge. Inside the back cover is 14K GOLD L&K 1700 with what looks like MK 557 scratched into it. The inner workings show the following: CYMA WATCH CO. R.455 17 SEVENTEEN JEWELS SWISS UNADJUSTED 4131 and COY. Any info about it, including potential value would be greatly appreciated. (I had never even noticed the 14K gold marking until sorting through some of my old jewelry.) Is the entire housing gold? Thank you for any help solving this mystery. UK Dry spell of Batman's
It's become almost impossible to get a BLNR in the UK now from an AD.However i know of somewhere which are willing to take a deposit..Is that a good thing? Should i jump at the chance of putting down a deposit, does this mean i jump the line? and show that i am serious(have i answered my own question)
