Invicta 14470 wrist watches news:
Originally, the watch Crown should resemble a wheel with tires on it. But held back. The Porsche Design Indicator watch is out a few years earlier at the time where the Porsche Carrera GT supercar is out. It was supposed to be a companion piece. The rubber on the watch strap has a tire design of bearing inside which was supposed to be tread tire of the Carrera GT wheels. A super Chronograph, accompanying a super car. The idea was that it is ultra easy to read while driving a car very fast.Eterna really surpassed themselves with this piece. Easily among their list of masterpieces. I felt really lucky to be a check out the shows, and I thank Eterna for this. Are there watches more like that? Probably, but probably not in the foreseeable future. With the slowdown of the economy, the demand for watches, as this is much lower. Until then, the Porsche Design Indicator will remain a wonderful and exotic novelty for those lucky enough to afford a. If you can, I highly recommend it.
I picked up this Lawrence about 6 months ago on the swamp. It doesn't run. So I was packing it up with some other Hamiltons to send to the watch doctor, and I noticed something strange.Although not clearly visible in this photo, the case is definitely a coral gold color:According to Will Roseman's website, the Lawrence was only made with a Keystone 10K natural yellow gold-filled case. The inside case cover on this example says made by Keystone. So that seems right. Textured dial and hands also seems correct for this model. The case does not look like it was re-plated, though I suppose that's possible. Any ideas on this one? thanksMark S.
Hey guys ! ! !My L&R Mastermatic that is probably 50+ years old finally died about a week ago.So, I was without a cleaning machine for about one week.I had the old L&R Mastermatic for about 4 years and it served me well but it was time for a MASSIVE UPGRADE ! ! ! ! ! I considered a Tempo 400, Mark V and the L&R Vari-Matic but all of these machines are also as old as the hills too.You can buy a reconditioned model but they will still cost in upwards of $2,000.00 with only a 90 day warranty.I thought about it for a couple of days and I decided to go long and invest in my future with a brand new machine still in the box. There were a couple of good ones to choose from but in the end I went with the German made ELMA RM90 (vibrating & rotating).Elma recently stopped manufacturing the RM90 (they came out with a new model) but Borel had one RM90 left on the shelf so I pulled the trigger. It arrived today! The new machine is fully automated and I can do up to 6 movements at one ti
I dropped my newly acquired 1926 Gruen Quadron movement and it landed dial side down. It appeared ok, but the spade shaped tip came off when the movement was put back in the case. I have searched but have not found anything about hand replacement or repair. I am in Sydney Australia so if a place is available here it would prove easier.
