- Very nice watch, good for dress or casual wear.Band has slightly raised design and will snag your stockings and fine knits so best to put on after dressing.

Bell & Ross WW1-92 Heritage wrist watches news:
that President Johnson had a lot to do with Hamilton's demise? In the 60's he took the tariffs off of watch imports. It wasn't so much the Swiss they were worried about....it was Timex. They had their watches built in several places around the world and they were running high on the "takes a licking and keeps on ticking". Now they were able to import them at a cheaper cost. They also were the first watch company to sell watches outside of a jewelry store. You could pick up a Timex at the drug store which was totally unheard of at that time. They offered a 30% margin to those other retailers and a 50% margin to the Jewelers.
I'm a Freemason and have been looking for one of these a very long time in good shape. Unfortunately was a very hard search. However tenacity pays-off and I found a watch in great condition NIB never worn with all the papers, etc...Enjoy my vintage..JL

I've been wearing my speedy on a leather strap or Nato since I got it a year ago........ always aiming to get a 1171 bracelet. But there has always been that other watch comming up on the radar before getting it. Every time I straped on the speedy thinking what it would look like with the bracelet. Now I know.Glad I got it, and I have to say that the speedy is a real shape shifter ¨C*tool on the Nato, leasure but elegant on leather and vintage on steel, Razzel, dazzel. Thanks for looking.
I have a chance to purchase a Seamaster and was curious to how well Omega stacked up to Rolex in customer service. Can I expect almost the same dependability from Omega that one can expect from Rolex or something different? Thanks!
