Bell and Ross BR0192-BL-HERITAGE wrist watches news:
So I have been looking at purchasing my first Rolex (maybe 2 if I can't decide - one pre-owned and one new). I saw a pre-owned Rolex Like New Ladies Datejust W/ White Roman Dial, two-tone w/ jubilee bracelet circa 90's from one of the sponsor sites selling for $2600.00. Is this a good price?I also asked customer service about adding a custom white MOP diamond dial ($500.00 extra)...but I think I read somewhere on this forum that custom dials will bring down the value of the watch. Is this true? The factory dial would still be included in the purchase as well. As always, opinions are appreciated.
I¡¯ve been bitten by the Speedmaster bug and I¡¯m trying to figure out a way to swing it. I¡¯m currently in negotiations with the Minister of Finance (aka ¡°the wife¡±) and I¡¯m looking for options.Buying a new watch is my preference, but it¡¯s going to take some time to pull together that kind of dough - and I know I can't wait that long. I've thought about selling a kidney, but that probably won't happen either. So that led me to consider a used Speedmaster (3570.50 with the latest bracelet style), but I don¡¯t know what one of these should cost.Any opinions on what a 3570.50 should cost, say in good working order with normal wear on the bracelet/case/crystal?
It has been rumored for a while - and it is official now. A new US price list will be in effect July 15th 2011.In order to respect H.S.W.A. (PP USA) as well as their authorized dealers, we will wait until FRI to post it.Just letting you know....if you had some plans to purchase a PP watch, you probably have a betterchance to get it at a lower price within the next 4 days ;-)Cheers !
I've recently bought this '80s Slava automatic, in very nice condition, for very little money. It's a bit of an ugly old thing, but I think it'll make a great 'beater'. Most interestingly, the Slava 2427 movement (in this one) is also used by Lum-Tec in their M-series watches.Does anybody have a Russian watch experience to share?
We were vacationing in florida when I stumbled across this wonderful display...I hope you'll enjoy it as I have. I'm pointing with my 1967 Rolex Explorer since the photos aren't very clear.-Steve
