- The watch looked good, but the wristband was broken - took it to the local jeweller who said that there was a spring missing. I am returning the item.

- The accmpanying directions were the worst. Maybe it works as advertised, but without per directions, getting it to work was all guesswork. Wish the thing worked; could have put it to good use. Now I'm waiting for my credit.

Patek Philippe 5120J-001 wrist watches news:
A reasonably priced diver with tritium gas tube illumination isn't the easiest watch to find. Especially if you want a nice clean design. A good option is the newer Prometheus JellyFish Automatic Tritium Diver, and this month you can enter for a chance to win one right here on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer. This giveaway is the the model with the blue dial, but the pieces also come with white, black, or yellow dials. The steel case is 43mm wide and contains a Japanese Seiko 6R15 automatic movement. The watch has a sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 300 meters. Price is extremely reasonable at $360 - $436 (depending on whether the watch is being shipped in our outside of Europe), and you can buy them online. Enter to win one of these beauties below. To Enter You Must: 1. Comment on this post below before the giveaway is over with your valid e-mail address where required. In the body of your comment mention a whether you like clean, classic looking dive watches or modern wildly design
While looking more and more at watches and considering a possible buy in the mid range 2000/3000 US$ price rank I come to a sad conclusion. I'd like to ask you whether it is me or do some of you, with much deeper knowledge of horology, also share this idea. The conclusion is that there are those who can make fine watches but don't care about design and those who sell nice designs but seem to be unable to offer anything but a relatively plain ETA at incredible high price.Seiko or Orient have many beautiful designs in the 200 US$ rank and have great movements which put in just a few designs. For example the Premier and its 6R20 I asked about a week ago is still my number one option but it leaves little options as far as designs, it is available in just a few versions which I don't dislike but which are not the best even of what Seiko can do.Then there are Rado, Movado, Sinn and many many others who can handle HardMetal, Ceramic, Tegiment tech and whatever ultra hard material just to put
Was at the AP boutique this evening just browsing. Then the very kind lady helping me brought out this one. I put it on and knew right away it's what I was looking for! Very pleased with it.
One that doesn't exist I mean....yet. I'm hopeful that they'll make some more 232/249 style cases or do more variations of the 610/609. Basically, I like the thinner, lower profile Radiomirs in 45 or 47mm. I love the 424/449 but the case proportions just don't make me buy it. I don't know, it just is to curvy if that makes sense. If they would do a SLC in a thinner radiomir case, I'd have to get. Put that 8 day movement in there and it would be even better.I would also like a 657 in a Radiomir case with maybe a flat dial. That would make an awesome daily. Auto, Date, GMT.Also, why not a white Radiomir......Can't get enough.Alas, I'll be waiting for some time. What about you guys?
Looking at my first Rolex purchase for the 30th bday and have it narrowed down to 3. - Pre-Owned 16610 Sub, complete kit, 2006 model- 6200- Pre-Owned gmt master 116710, complete kit- 7200- new SubC no date from AD- 7500 No tax on any of these since out of state. 7500 is tip of the budget. Any advice is appreciated!
