Ebel 183903 wrist watches news:
It is not easy to describe the atmosphere and the fun we experience at these get-togethers.It is not about the door prizes, it is not about if we break a new record in attendance every time we have one of these and believe or nor it is not first and foremost about the watches either. It is about people - it is about new and old friends. I am very thankful that this hobbyof mine allowed me not only to enjoy a watch or two - but also meet somewonderful people and make some great friends.Together with New York City (3x) - this was already our 7th large gathering (Tampa now 4 x)For those that want to and have the time to participate - these events are notonly the GTGs meetings themselves. We always have a blast the whole weekend (starting to partyon Fridays in Tampa and actually starting in Thursdays in NYC.Final count:- 39 people in attendance- between John Brozek with Qualitytyme.net, Yamron Jewelers, AvantGold, Ball watch USA, Orbita WindersHenri Stern Watch Agency (Patek Philippe USA)
I found a relatively old DateJust on Craigs List, so I emailed the seller and asked how much he wanted for it. He responded "what is DateJust?" and then sent another email saying "if you mean the Rolex, $150".While I'd love to believe this is true, I have several bells going off in my head telling me its a fake, however I wanted to get a second opinion. I believe that anyone who asks for $150 for a Rolex is either inflicted with some kind of mental ailment or is selling a fake (most likely the latter). The thing that immediately caught my attention was the Cyclops, notice how the magnification seems to be 1.5x as opposed to the legitimate 2.5x, meaning that the guy who made this probably used a sticker rather than a glass magnifier as Rolex does. The band also appears to be a cheap imitation, however it could just be old. What do you guys think?EDIT: Just realized I have a typo in the title, its Houston, not Huston. Can one of the moderators fix this please?Note: I fixed it, but you can
I just seen a TV commercial for the Omega Speedmaster Professional....talk about your high profile spokesperson....John Fitzgerald Kennedy. I looked it up and found it on You Tube....youtube/watch?v=e_3asu33NmISorry if this is a repeat.
Just purchased a khaki king automatic watch that is running about 15 seconds slow in a 24 hour period, hand wound it 12 times before wearing, is this correct and slow running normal for a new watch. Can I expect better.TIA
Thanks!
