New arrival wenger Quartz chrono
It's finally here. The only fear I had was that the movement would have been an ETA g10xxx. Father Time was looking out for me, it's a 13 jewel Quartz 5030D. It's an older Ronda however I have a few like the helix Okto diver with the same movement and they have been flawless. AD-is it really worth it?
I know that this topic has to hve been brought up before, but I want to hear some opinions on this subject. So I was at a store the other day, and I was trying on a couple of Monaco's and thought I would go ahead and inquire about price. I have done research on the watch in the past, so I had a general idea of what he was going to say, but I had no idea it was going be at such a high mark up. For the base black dial model it was about 1k increase from online stores, and the blue dial chronograph was about $1500 above what I have seen it. So is there any play in these numbers? I am new to Rolex, do understand the Daytona following, the watch has a long history. Sky dweller SS on the other hand is new watch why the crazy asking prices? It has to establish itself as an iconic piece to command the premium.Would I buy a SS model if offered as MSRP absolutely, only blue or black dial.I picked a TT black dial couple of weeks ago, had the option to get white or champagne decided to get black dial.
