Blancpain 2100-1130M-55 wrist watches news:
Hello Everyone I purchased a Seamaster Omegamatic about 10 years ago. Best watch I've ever had It's a very accurate time piece gaining 25 secs over 12 months and as I am in water a lot it has been a great companion. I take it off my wrist at night before I go to bed and for the very first time when I awoke three days ago it's power was failing: the second sweep was stalling and then would jump four or five seconds and repeat this process. I gave it a few shakes and the second sweep returned to normal. When I woke this morning the watch had stopped at 1.30am. After re-setting the time and giving it a few shakes it was back to normal again. Does the capacitor last indefinitely or is this an indication that it needs to be replaced? Can anyone advise me?
I need help in deciding which watch I should get for my first AP. I have narrowed it down to the 3 watches below. I know 100% I will be pursing a 42mm ROO chrono all black ceramic if/when AP ever comes out with it. Depending on which watch I get now and how much I like it, I would possibly sell it to upgrade to my next AP. With that being said, future value is a small factor in determining which way I should go.Royal Oak Offshore Limited Edition Ginza $22,500.00Royal Oak Ceramic Diver $23,9002014 Royal Oak Offshore $21,000
I have been wanting to buy this clasp for two years now but haven't bc of the price, but I just bit the bullet!! It is being shipped now, the pics below are off the web but I'll post my own once the clasp is in. I want to give a shout out to Jim at Continental Jewelers in DC. He is Fr. John's contact and the guy is an absolute pleasure to do business with, I highly recommend him to anyone.
I think I need to go to St. Thomas and Aruba more often. I just returned from there today. Great place if your looking to either buy or just look. Fabulous selection, I think I need to go there more often.
Very interested to hear from forum members as to what you have been quoted by your AD.Fascinated to hear whether the times vary from continent to continent-My AD has undertaken to supply me within twelve months-is this a good lead time?
