Patek Philippe 3738/100 wrist watches news:
Greetings Everyone...A new to meMorton has joined my vintage "Hamilton Family"! Sidney, Dexter, Martin.. now Morton! Runs great.. has a nice history to it![IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]BestBob
Everyone is comfortable wearing a watch of a certain case size diameter. It's called their sweet spot. Above that point the watch appears way too big and below that size it appears way too small. Each person is different. I would be interested in seeing what you guys like. For example I prefer a watch case diameter between 46mm and 50mm. What's your watch sweet spot.
I'm thinking about trading my pp 5726 with Lange 1 timezone rosegold with grey dial. Both are used watch and expected trade value is equal. Please share you thought.Thank you very much.
Are there differences between the 5136 vs the 3940 other than the bracelet?
I'm planning on finally pulling the trigger and buying a new Rolex GMT 2. I live in California which has a fairly high sales tax rate of about 8.5%. I'm thinking of either buying the watch in another state and seeing if they will ship it to me without charging sales tax, or buying the watch at an airport duty free and then bringing it back into the U.S. I travel a lot and I'm thinking of maybe going through Schipol in Amsterdam to buy the watch. My question is does anybody have an idea what the duty would be when bringing it back into the U.S.? I've done a lot of research but haven't been able to find a reliable answer. I know most people say to just ship the box and then wear it on your wrist and don't declare it. It's not worth the risk for me. Knowing my luck, they would catch me and I don't want that on my record so I'm searched overtime I enter the country. Thanks for any help!
