IWC IW325401 wrist watches news:
For the past four days, we've been inundating you with the latest, greatest, and most extreme brand new watches from the SIHH 2015 – one of two of the most important watch trade shows each year. We've shown you everything from new, ultra thin split seconds chronographs, to inexpensive annual calendars, to collaborations amongst masters, to simple, time-only revivals, to diamond-laden flying tourbillons hidden with golden flowers. But each and everyone one of them have one thing in common – they are brand new. So today we'd though we'd break the chain of newness with just a simple post featuring two pictures of six watches. There is no story here, nothing to report. Instead, we thought we'd just show you six great old Patek Philippes from their front up top, and their back down below. Just beautiful, aren't they? Do any of the modern pieces we've seen at SIHH 2015 compare? You tell us.We'll be back with regularly scheduled SIHH 2015 programmin
Hi all,Looking for pics of the SS GMTIIC with a brushed bracelet. Can anyone oblige? Thanks!Ryan
Hi folks. I've located a pre-owned 16610 I'm interested in. Could you please tell me about what I would expect to pay an AD for a pre-purchase inspection to verify authenticity and condition of a 16610?This would be my first Rolex purchase so I need to rely on an experts advise. Also, and this may seem ridiculous to some of you, but I used to work in law enforcement, do any of you check the serial number with local or state police to verify this is not a stolen watch? It's not that I don't trust people, but I couldn't stand the thought of wearing someone else's watch if it was stolen from one of its previous owners. Thanks in advance. Best regards.
Well its been a lunar month now since I was fortunate enough to buy the MasterJust thought to post a little information on what it's like so far to live with. First the positive.I still love the class looks of this timepiece, it smiles to me every morning and gets some wrist time everyday. Scott exlained to me some time ago about the engine; Valjoux 7751, it is both a workhorse and a thing of beauty. The watch gains about 4/5 seconds a day on the wrist which I am happy with. The negative. The crown was not designed for human fingers, very small, hard to get a grip of to pull out, adjust or hand wind. The strap is just about minimum length for my wrist to allow the end to tuck in under both retaining bands. It's OK for me but i only have 7,5 inch wrists. There may be a choice of strap lengths available when ordering but this was not mentioned to me.Thats about it for now, no regrets, would buy it again tomorrow. Great watch.
My dad has asked me what watch I would like for my graduation present this year, I figured the best people to ask would be those who know a lot about watches.Originally I was dead torn between a Submariner and a Breitling Emergency Mission, already had the conversation about the radio and 'improper use' with him and a jeweller. But because of the recession, my dad being pretty hard hit as he is self employed, I think I may ask for something a little less expensive and the obvious answer to me is an Omega..omegawatches/gents/se...hrono/22105200.omegawatches/gents/se...23230465101002Both have their merits. The orange is slightly different plus I could buy the orange rubber strap to wear when on holiday or out on the boat. Though I could see other people finding it to be a little offensive and gaudy, maybe. The black is very conservative and the mesh strap is also a little different but looks very classic.Or is there anything else I am missing. All feedback welcome, a lot of you guys have
