A wonderful gift and a sigh of relief .............
A special friend and Watch lover that I met thru this hobby just sent me a wonderful gift. His name is James DeBruin and he's a Major in the CanadianArmy, just back from active combat duty. We corresponded while he was deployed and I prayed daily for his safe return. This was the best Christmas present I could have received and the only one (his return) that i was really hoping for.Here's the gift (Pennant) and the letter that came with it ..............God Bless all who serve !Kurt: Thank you for confirming that it has arrived. The camo backdrop was the idea of my Company Sergeant-Major. The camo panel is taken from an actual arid pattern combat uniform in-theatre (it was washed first!). My Sergeant-Major is a class act and kept me sane through 7.5 months of pretty intense operations in Kandahar Province.Traditionally, the pennant is flown on radio whip antennas as a designator of key command appointments. Obviously, we did not do so in Kandahar as we would have become targets and so

Doxa Aquaman
so I came across a Doxa model that I really want to get, or at least I think I want to get. The Aquaman, it's really appealing, I like the case size, and the dimensions, and also the fact that it's a entry level Doxa, I do know it's quartz and I do realize that alot of Doxa collectors will look down on the model, and or shun it. I did read some things on it, I guess you can only get them in Europe, mainly Romania, and the surrounding countries. I tried to find some on the bay and I was able too, some are on a rubber strap, and some are on a steel bracelet, I was wondering it doesn't look like from the pics that you can change the straps out, does anyone know if you can indeed? Also does any member here have one? and or any first hand experince with owning one.

You know friends, I used to reach rare Patek birds , so today I need to confirm some informations concerning Aquanaut:For everybody, the 324-393 caliber appear, on Aquanaut in 2007 with the introduction of the new Aquanaut reférence 516X. Which mean that all the Aquanaut references 506X was equiped by caliber 330 SC or 315 SC. Which mean in other terms, that it's impossible, because of the date of creation of the 324-393 to see it in a 506X case. Am I correct ?
