hello, I have this hamilton stamped K451 on inside of case with an inscription on the back dating to 1955, its the watch on the left of photo, in the model reference pages I dont see a K451 for the 1950s, any one shed light on this, the watch on the right is an accumatic 602 from 1964 it has the same dial as an electric nautilus 601. Speedmaster pro water resistance question
Hey guys. I have been trying to figure out if you can wash a speedmaster pro in the sink reguarly with soap and water. I am going to purchase a Tudor Pelagos tomorrow over the speedy but the main reason was that I work in the hospital and give my watch a quick wash after the shift to disinfect. There seems to be conflicting advice on the internet..some say its ok and some say its a nono because no screw down crown. If i puchased a new speedmaster how often do I need to get the seals checked?Thanks for any sage advice.Edit: also, is it harmful to the watch to keep the chrono stopped on the day of the month.
