Breitling B13355 wrist watches news:
I was in Basel, Switzerland sitting in a van and I saw a man wearing what looked rather familiar. There on his wrist was a Christiaan Van Der Klaauw Planetarium. Of course, it makes total sense for the man to be strutting his stuff at Baselworld, but how rare is it for someone to have one of these? Pretty rare actually. The luxury watch done in an old world style displays the signature ultra complexity that Christian Van Der Klaauw is know for. I know of no other watch with a full planetarium on the dial. I talked to the man for a second to compliment him on the piece. You just don't see stuff like that very often. In fact, Christiaan van der Klaauw (CVDK) pretty much only makes "astronomical watches." The Planetarium has the smallest such complication in the world on the dial. Even before clocks existed, there were astrological devices meant to track the heavens. Thoughts on Luminox ?I see they have quite a few nice examples, anyone haev experience with them ?Thanks,Tim
I don't know if anyone has noticed, but you no longer have to "Go Advanced" to use the emoticons. Also, for you fellow users of Safari: the glitch in the Longines and Bulova & Accutron Forums is fixed - you can now post new threads and the masthead pictures are visible. Thanks Greg and John! The upgrade is coming along nicely, and much more smoothly than I expected.
I read a post a few months ago about rolex going up market and i cant help but feel thus is true.Called in to my AD today was told stock levels are hopeless and waiting lists are closed. This is the same AD I bought two subs from new. Was told numerically speaking I was not a VIP customer and would not find my self on any list.I can’t undertand how stock levels can be so low, its either rolex is genuinely holding back stock or ADs are selling direct to the grey market. What are your thoughts on current supply? Will it get any better? Its been atleast two years now?Time to move on. AP here i come...
And I assume a discount is hard to come by with a dealer?I have a Rolex dealer that tells me they can get me one. Still on the fence as I have small wrist for this big watch.Thank you.
