Longines L2.665.4.51.6 wrist watches news:
This auction is the only one I ever regretted with ending biding too early. This guy got it for a serious low price in my opinion...What is your opinion of the watch?
HiI've posted once before .info/foru...orum/54364.htm about a Mido watch which used to belong to my Father. I now have a few more watches, all except one have family connections. Every time I visit my Mother I seem to find another watch. The Sackville (1930's?) belonged to my Grandfather, he apparently bought it using Black Cat Cigarette coupons. It has sat in a box with a load of old photos since the mid 70's. It was fully wound and didn't work, however it is now working after having it cleaned. I'm lucky enough to have a proper watch repairer locally, he likes me bringing in old watches and is always interested. The third watch, the silver WW1? watch, is the only one with no family connection, I bought it on ebay for ¡ê60. It does work but stops every so often, it has been cleaned. I'll need to get it looked at, it's too unreliable to use.The Smiths Empire watch (1950's?) is another one which has been in a box somewhere in the house for a long time. It has a family connection, I can't
Hi all, The 5980r has arrived yesterday, I have to say i really love this reference, the brown dial compliments the strap so well, it wears more substantial than the SS model, and more presence on the wrist than the 5712r. I have seriously thought about the 5980 full gold, but i think the R on strap suits my lifestyle way better. I now own both 1/A and R in different metals, not sure if they can coexist in one collection given they share the same chorno movement? would the 5711/1R be a better option to replace the 1/A?Here are some snaps to share with you guys
Guys,I'm looking to get a 5726A, with strap. What is the market on these now? Thanks!
So I'm relatively new to the Panerai scene, but already love the ease of swapping straps! I love the various browns people use and think they suit the vintage image of a Pam. There are lots of them however so I am feeling bold! Managed to get a lime green oem strap when I bought the watch and love it. After reading plenty reviews here and on various web sites I decided to order a Toshi Strap. I have started tame with light blue and brown stitching. The quality of the strap is the same, if not better than oem! I cannot recommend the starap enough. Very soft and supple from the outset, fits the watch great, and is very comfortable. Not a photographer as you can see, but being a petrol head I have taken a picture of my dream watch (real) next to one of my dream cars (sadly not real and only a model one!).[IMG][/IMG]
