TAG Heuer CV211A FT8789 wrist watches news:
Hello,This is my first post on this forum, but thought I should do it as it is 25 years today that I purchased my Oyster Perpetual Date Just. The picturs show the watch in its original case with all the original paperwork, and the leather wallet plus original outer case. The watch is showing signs of age but still keeps good time.
Had to get in on the July Madness....received a suspicious looking package today....Better open it up and see....Lovely magazine....many pictures........and that looks like a familiar BoxSo what can be inside.....any guesses ? ...hey....there it is.....sorry Kevin but when Milos says "just get the GMT ll-C", well what's a guy to do? (only problem is he also told me to get the Patek 5960P )Hey look....another box it even looks bigger....yes I'm sure it's even bigger. What can be in here ? Yeah a DSSD !!! Well that's all the excitement I can take for one day....Double Shot. Best,Rob
Hi All,I bought a TAG CAS2111 today which came with the metal bracelet and a couple brown straps and I'm very happy with it. I am now looking to source a navy blue strap for it. (mandatory pics below - excuse the poor quality though )Snapchat-5047946278548032561 (Medium).jpgSnapchat-319956001772059797 (Medium).jpgI like everything about the Genuine TAG FC6292 strap. I need to price it up on Monday but I believe it is about $450 for the strap and then another $300 or so for the buckle. I'd also like to explore aftermarket straps though as I've seen some really nice ones on this forum. It's a shame there doesn't seem to be any aftermarket manufacturers based in Sydney, Australia but I'll request some quotes from known international sellers this weekend and hopefully buy one in the next few days. I'll most likely go for alligator strap as this is what the FC6292 is and I loved it. Just a question - has anyone had a genuine TAG strap and an aftermarket one? How is the aftermarket one comp
I can't find any talk on this subject outside of the PP forum, so I thought I'd bring it up here and see what sort of opinions are out there. For those of us unfamiliar with the Geneva Seal -The Geneva Seal is a designation that is given to Swiss watches (made in the canton of Geneva), that meet exacting specifications of quality. Patek watches have received the seal for years and PP has been its biggest champion. Recently, PP has decided to abandon the Geneva Seal for its own designation, the Patek Philippe Seal. Over the past few years, other "inferior" brands have qualified for the Geneva Seal, which, in some opinions sullies the designation. PP has set a standard for themselves which is more exacting than the standards of the Geneva Seal, and include requirements for the precision of the entire watch, including the cased movement. So the purpose of this post is to generate some discussion and opinions. Has Patek gone over the top with its ego and abandoned a third party quality check
Hello , I have narrowed my choices to -- --patek 5205 ( 40 mm ), patek 5140 ( 37 mm ), 5146 ( 39 mm ), and 5396 ( 38 mm ).I have only tried 5146 as the rest are unavailable. Not taking into consideration the price and look of each model, which one will look good/ fit well for my 6 inch wrist size, where the watch wont look too big/ awkward/ funny ? any guys with small wrist with any of above models can chime in. I currently have a 5116 calatrava - 36 mm and fit is good . Thanks
