Longines L3.696.4.59.6 wrist watches news:
My wife purchased a Wolf Watch Winder for me for Christmas. It has the ability to wind clockwise, counterclockwise or both and can be set to start when you turn it on or after 12 hours. From what I can tell and my research on this brand it seems to be a very nice device. However, it doesn't keep my Oris Diver Date wound. If I leave it on the Winder for more than a day or so, my watch stops. Does anyone here have any advice for me? Should I use the clockwise setting? Or one of the other two? Does anyone one else have any problems with their Oris and watch winders?I've tried to do research on Google but most of the hits I get are for companies that SELL watch winders.Thanks.
Since there seems to be some interest in starting a Hamilton Forum let's see what everyone thinks.Vote once and ,as always, opinions are welcome from all.IMHO with Hamiltons rich American based history, and wide range of price points and a large and varied catalog I think it would be a great addition to WTF.
Hi Breitling fans I recently acquired a vintage 806 Navitimer on a NATO and was looking for a good strap for the watch. Do any of you have any good recommendations? Any pics to show would be appreciated
Hi all,Newbie here... and Newbie to New York too! Am actually from London :)Looking to buy an Omega Speedmaster '57 Chronograph 331.90.42.51.04.001 for an engagement present. It'll be my Fianc¨¦'s first luxury watch... and been in lots of the New York watch boutiques with him... JLC, IWC, Rolex, Omega as well as Tourneau. Can anyone point me in the right direction/help to purchase an Omega at a discount? Can't afford the one we like at full price! Thanks in advance!y
So I owned an Explorer 39mm in 2016 when the 2016 revision was released at Basel that year. I liked it when it came out but at the time liked the one I had and didn't think there was enough difference between the two to do anything costly and drastic about it.Fast forward two years. After seeing the 2016 version at AD's the last couple of years I really do think the changes to the hands and 3,6,9 took it back to its roots so to speak and are solid improvements. I decided this week to let my current one go in favor of one so I have a slightly used 2017 model on the way. I just couldn't see having a version of a watch I liked when I could have one that truly sang to me.I'm just curious of forum members who had the 2010 Explorer 39mm and liked it but decided to part with it for the 2016 version because it just came together so well and you saw it as an improvement not simply a change or different look.
