Johann Rupert Assumes Richemont CEO Role Effective April 1, 2010
Richemont has announced that effective April 1, 2010, Johann Rupert will assume the role of CEO, replacing Norbert Platt who will retire at the end of the year for health reasons. Mr. Platt will remain as a director of Compagnie Financi¨¨re Richemont SA and will act as an advisor to the Group. Pretty wild right? This is the new version of the La Clef du Temps watch. From "La Clef" to "La Cl¨¦," funny enough they both mean "the key of time." The original La Clef du Temps was never originally meant to be an Hublot watch. It was designed for the Confrerie Horlogere under BNB Concept before it went bankrupt. When Hublot bought up the Confrerie and Mathias Buttet, it got the La Clef du Temps with it. I wasn't really too enthused on that watch - writing about the La Clef du Temps here. Good "budget" Rolex Diver?
I'm refining my list of watches that I can't afford or justify right now. I know that there are a lot of different subtle variations to Rolexes, some of which are much more expensive than others. I'm looking for one of the more affordable variations.How much should a man on a budget expect to spend on a "traditional" all-black Rolex diver used? I'm kind of liking the Submariner no date, but I certainly don't know much about what is out there.

Diver in FC or ceramic?
Hi all, wanted to know which you prefer of these two divers? Both are very cool the FC having a ceramic bezel is clearly a plus, so basically which one do you prefer, yellow or orange? Your watch at airport security
Just curious to hear what you do when asked to remove your watch?Do you remove it an put it directly in the little plastic box provided by security or do you put it in a carry-on bag so as not to scratch it? Or do you travel with the little green watch pouch provided by Rolex or something similar?I just got mine a few weeks ago and will be traveling soon. Might take the little green pouch/sleeve with me and put it in my carry-on bag just before security.
