Breguet 5827BR/Z2/5ZU wrist watches news:
So, what watch does one wear to the Academy Awards as a first-time Oscar nominee? Admittedly, this was a new first-world problem for Tom Cross, who, as editor of the film Whiplash, recently received an Academy Award nomination for "Best Editing" - one of five Oscars Whiplash is up for this year. UPDATE: Tom Cross received the Academy Award (as well as Independent Spirit Award) for Film Editing for the movie Whiplash. This was a scenario Tom Cross did not anticipate when he started work on the labor-of-love indie drama. ¡°We were just happy to find out we got in to Sundance,¡± explains? Cross of Whiplash¡¯s long, unexpected trajectory: first debuting at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, then becoming one of - if not the - most acclaimed films of the year.Shot in 19 days on a minuscule budget, Whiplash captures the psychological warfare between a young jazz drummer striving for virtuosity (Miles Teller) and his sadistic teacher/bandleader (J.K. Simmons) who punishes as much as pushes his dis
I spent the last hour before falling asleep on my pillow...watching YouTube videos (on my HTC) of Minute Repeaters from Patek, UN, Credor, etc Near the sleepy end, I decided that I will look again at the Quartz/battery option for a Minute Repeater in my collection. Some will remember that I had my CC pulled out at an AD in the Panama Canal and 'almost' bought the Campanola Minute Repeater for $4k usd!? I didn't know until playing around with it, that it was a quartz movement. But more importantly, the shape, large size, and appearance of the small little strap made it uncomfortable to wear. Scrolling down the list on YouTube, I came across the Calibre 9000 Citizen watches. What do you guys think of these 'electronic' Minute Repeaters? Sounds pretty cool for a computer sound?:Dyoutube/watch?v=751poNHRJcQIf anyone can find automatic Minute Repeaters that I may have missed in my searches, please let me know. I believe the nearest to reality piece I found was an EDOX for about $4,
Just curious, I like the screws better than the pins...any help would be appreciated.
Are there any recommendations on buying (or not buying) an Omega online? I've talked with a few AD's and have gotten 25%+ discounts on BNIB with serial numbers, warranty, etc. I know you can get a great discount on a gray market watch with a warranty through the store itself, but I don't want to go that route. Any advice by knowledgeable folks? Any places to recommend for A+ service?
Picked this up from my local AD yesterday, just got around to taking a couple of pics to share.[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
