- The look is complex, part retro funk and part dressy and old world! I don't mind paying a jeweler $5.00 to take a few links off, I'll wear this often and for a long time to come!

Breguet 5847BR/Z2/5ZV wrist watches news:
It's Saturday and I'm deferring the moment when I have to get up and get organised. The cat's fed, coffee's drunk, fruit ingested so it's one last stab at a second thread before I do indeed have to attend to the rest of the day.So pals, is there anything you'd steer clear off when considering watches? I'm not talking brands, more characteristics or aspects of a watch.I never go anywhere near red dials. Red's not my colour. I can accept it as the colour of some writing on a watch but that's about it. While I like the Gemini IV LE, the splash of red on the caseback is a little distracting. That cannot be helped of course since it was the mission patch of Gemini IV but the same splash of red on the front wouldn't be my thing. I'm not too keen on tang and buckle fasteners for straps either, preferring instead a deployment clasp which is more secure since the watch is already reasonably safe on your wrist before you secure the clasp. And you pals? Is or are there anything you'd rather not ha
The crystal is supposed to be scratch resitant, however I have this one "streak" that does not come off the crystal. Most times one cannot see it. It's only when light refelects off it at a certain angle that one can see it. Not sure what it is as I cannot even feel it when I run my finger tips across the crystal. Is it possible that it may have "scuffed" and needs to be buffered out? Is this common?..I know I may be a little anal, but I love this watch so much. Thanks
I've seen a couple of photos of Invictas with black MOP faces, and was wondering if anybody knows of any less bulky watches that feature MOP faces. I'd have to see one in person to know if I really like them or not - I can't tell from a photo if it would be a distraction or an attraction!Same goes for tigers eye faces. For example, there's a face only on Ebay right now, I think it's marked Longines. I love tiger's eye, mother of pearl, labradorite, fire agate, and other minerals, shells and woods that have chatoyency, but I'm undecided if it's too much for a watch face.
For those who don't have a watch winder. - How often do you take out your crown to adjust your automatic to the correct date and time?I pull out the crown on my Seiko 5 out about 2 times a week to adjust the date and time so I can wear it out. I never wear it unless I'm going out to do something with my friends, so I wear it about 2 times a week. For my 9937ob, I unscrew it about once a week because I like wearing it at home for about 30 minutes sometimes because I just like staring at it and stuff. (Lol call me a weirdo if you want). Now I have a question, is it a bad thing that I'm unscrewing the crown all the time to adjust my watch? How often do you guys unscrew yours?
Anyone here have a PAM 392? Looking for a 42mm/44mm, brushed case, sandwich dial, automatic, with date and think this will fit the bill. I have a small 6.25 wrist (flat however), and my current daily is a Rolex 116710 (fits perfectly). I don't like huge watches and think this might be a good compromise since I've been looking at a Panerai for some time. Anyone have one? If so, any regrets? Would you buy again? Attached a pic for reference!
