- The watch is beautiful. After having a few links removed, it fits my very wrist perfectly. It is very elegant and looks great with dressy or casual clothes.

Breitling AB011012/A690SS wrist watches news:
I inherited this older Patek from my father, who loved high-end watches and had quite a few. In going through his saved papers, I haven't been able to find any paperwork associated with this watch, but I seem to remember him telling me about it in the late-'80s (if it's the same one). It's 18kt, hand-wind, the dial is porcelain, it's totally original (including the PP strap and 18kt buckle, and the red leather presentation box), and it runs beautifully as well as looking very good. Can anyone shed any light on what model it might be, its approximate date of manufacture, and (if you're feeling brave), what its value might be, for insurance purposes? Thanks!patek.jpg
I've owned this Autavia nearly two years. It originally came to me on a green nylon Zulu as an original PVD bracelet falls into the category of "unobtanium".Since that time I have been on the hunt for a leather strap that would do the watch justice. I think I have found two.The first is the Crown & Buckle black Calfskin Leather NATO. The Autavia requires a very thin strap to fit between the spring bars and the PVD case, and this strap fits the bill. It's made from an extremely soft leather and the suede finish of the inside of the strap allows it to cling to the wrist and securely support the chunky Autavia. The buckle and rings are polished stainless steel and look good with the Autavia's PVD finish, but I'll be purchasing another and attempting to give them a darker finish. All and all, a very satisfactory military look is achieved using the Crown & Buckle Calfskin Leather NATO.This strap comes in 18, 20 and 22mm widths, and I'm hoping Crown & Buckle will produce a 24mm v

Had the pleasure of attending an Omega Boutique event in Atlanta last week with a good number of watch geeks from around GA and even one for South Carolina. The Omega team were gracious hosts, great watches new and vintage, adult beverages an overall a great time. Tim McCain (Boutique Manager) And Les Lim (sales) were absolute first rate gentlemen and incredible watch guys!First - a shout out to redbarATL members Alex and Doug who were kind enough to loan out a few of their Omegas to those who didn't own an Omega at the moment (I wore my Sinn but stashed it when I put on a vintage Omega TV - see pics below) they channeled their inner Oprah with their Omegas:The Seamaster had an engraving on the back from 1953, I forget what it said but very cool to meWinner(s) of the Looks 10x better in person category were the new Anniversary ModelsVintage was well representedThe Memomatic had both Minute and Hours Alarms The 321 was to die forLoved the Blue Steel / Grey dial on the TV SpeedmasterSpea
