- This watch is really more beautiful than the picture. For me it was an impulse buy--I saw it and just wanted it. I am not disappointed, although I prefer a larger faceplate for reading the time.

Omega 123.20.27.60.57.002 wrist watches news:
So, first let me say I am pretty new to participating actively on the forum, but have been lurking around here for a while and learned a lot reading threads. I check WUS at least a couple times a week now. Based on the quality of people participating I am very excited in sharing with you my story. My dad knows my love for watches and a couple Christmas ago he surprised me by giving me one of his watches. The story is that about 25 years ago he remarried and that his new wife as I learned it back then was in the jewelry business when he met her. One day as I got casually invited over to her house, I saw that my dad was wearing an absolutely amazing watch from which I couldn¡¯t take my eyes off. I then asked what it was and he said proudly that his wife had given him this watch which had been in her family for a long time. The watch was a killer to me, did know much about Vintage watches back then but I could tell from the design it was an older model and so amazingly unique. Twenty yea
I really like the Panerai GMT (not the PAM88 the other model with the full in-house movement, what model is that?) What in house movements models are 40mm and are their any GMT 40mm? My wrist is only about 6.5" and although i'll consider a 44 a 40 may be better suited so I'll have to wait and try some onI like the Luminor case shape best.I'm not soo big on the 8 day indicator but i believe it is on all in-house movement models is this true? Also how durable is this Panerai? I want to use it as my everyday watch and I don't mean office use. I swim/ surf/ dive and play a lot of sports. Obviously most times i'll take off my watch but i want it to be able to handle all i can throw at it in the situation I don't want to take it offAny thoughts or history of problems with this model for what i'm talking about?Has anyone got pictures of 40mm's and in-house's and GMT's models? Thanks a lot let me know your thoughts,,,
I've decided crown guards - except on a tool watch - are more about fashion than protecting your timepiece. They help give visual interest to designs.I've never had an issue bashing a crown. What's your view?
I'm not hip to your all's lingo yet. :-P What's a WIS?Speaking of lingo, I think this would be a good place to define other watch-collecting buzz words, too.
