I was watching this one (definitely not a bidder) and I knew it would fetch a good price. The auction just ended and it went for $5,655.55! This seller has some really rare/scarce watches and they seem to be commanding some premium prices from a quick look at completed auctions. I imagine someone here has some familiarity with them. I have a habit of checking craigs for deals on used watches. Who else does this and have you found any deals? There is a gold PP for sale for $6,500 in my area.

rolex is growing on me
I always had a dislike for rolex. I thought of it as a flashy/snobby/overpriced watch. I had my sights on other watches like omega, panerai, and zenith. The entire time however i always wanted a submariner. I had a love for dive watches and the sub seemed to be the best dive watch for the money. I said it would be my first and only rolex I would buy. 4 months ago I started my search and was in the market for a submariner. Although on my quest I fell in love with the Daytona. Not realizing the market I thought I could just walk into an AD and buy one for msrp. Boy was I wrong. So back in september I pulled the trigger and bought my first rolex a submariner. Now I have a new found love for rolex . I went from telling myself I would never buy a rolex besides the sub ND to planning my next rolex purchase.
