Just Arrived: Lord Elgin Clubman
Technically, I already have a Clubman, but it has a custom Schlitz dial and a 680 movement. The heart of the Clubman is of course the waffle dial.Unfortunately, they often go for crazy prices or the waffle dials look like they have gone to war. Finally the other day, a seller had listed two of them ending a few minutes apart. The first one went for over a hundred, while this one received little attention.One thing I've never understood on eBay, is that many sellers send you filthy watches (wouldn't a clean watch get you more $$?). Of course, this was no exception. There was crud in every crevice on both the band and the case. I cleaned and polished both the case and band and they shined up nicely. Additionally, the crystal was scratched across its entire surface. A little polywatch, a Dremel, and elbow grease polished it up nicely. The movement is Elgin's 21 jewel, 556. Some time ago, I posted a shot of my wife's new Tissot PRC100 chrono with its metal bracelet, which she didn't like. Finally, the red leather deployant strap we back-ordered from Tissot arrived at the AD. She likes the strap much better; I think it looks better, too. What do you think?

Hiya,, After collecting our Tudor BB green last week and seeing a lot of Tudors in the flesh,,,, i could hear two other BBs singing to me on the way home from Knightbridge,,,, Furthermore and with my wife loving the BB models,, we have decided to purchase a new unworn watch with most stickers attached and a full MF warranty less 2 months with a full set,,,,,,, We have gone for a Tudor ETA,,,,Blackbay Blue on black leather with that great deployment clasp and an extra blue Tudor nato style unworn strap [may add a bracelet in the near future],,,,,, I will post some pics when she arrives on monday or tuesday,,,, love the BB red on bracelet or distressed leather and we will add that model in the near future,,,, Our BB blue will be my daily wearer/beater so giving the dj2 a nice long rest,,,, pics to follow on arrival,,,,,,,,,
