Breguet 5837BR/92/5ZU wrist watches news:
Hi there,I purchased an Omega DeVille prestige 18ct Gold Case watch in 1998 after the theft of my Rolex Oyster.I was going to replace the Oyster but as soon as I saw the Prestige in Goldsmith's store in Bristol (UK) I couldn't take my eyes off it.It was a total seachange from my previous timepieces; I had always gone for heavy case stainless watches like the Oyster, copying the tastes of my management colleagues (ain't we just sheep !!!). Once I had this watch on my wrist I found I needed to look at the time far more frequently than I ever had before. I also noticed that colleagues and my bosses would compliment the watch and remark on the clean, uncluttered lines and daintiness of the casing and dial. When you're a sixteen stone Welshman who spent many years as a front row Rugby Forward (For the US read 'Nose Tackle'), it's very difficult to look sophisticated and it's amazing how the right accessory to a good suit and the correct expensive tie helps !!Anyway, enough of these metaphor
Did Benrus use a glass or acrylic crystal for their wrist watches?
Think a poll is required. Which one do you like the most??
Funny, approximately 8 months ago, I was contemplating paying almost 6000 bucks above retail to get a white Daytona 116500.Realizing that I was willing to spend more on a watch that I ever thought, I ventured outside of my Rolex comfort zone.It led me to my first AP, the 15400ST blue dial. This year, after reaching a couple of milestones this past month, I decided to step up a bit to kinda celebrate and reward myself. So, it led me to this Looking at a 5164A as First PP First time trying it on.Came home with me.First day at the office
Can¡¯t remember what the first one was called something like a Dayton or something like that ,,, actually a customers ceramic very nice but not for me . And what how did this follow me home ?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
