Recommend against buying Longines
My opinion may be biased for those people considering buying Longines, but I'd like to express reservations about the Longines quality. I have bought Longines for two women in my life. You ask me why? Longines model provide the understated sophistication and classic tone, but I was deeply disappointed with the models. Both watches skip dates. The company only offered to fix the problem for money even though the quality issue has nothing to do with wearers' care. (I can provide passport numbers and model names).I personally go with Jaeger le Coultre and Luminor Panerai.Again, due to poor customer service (unresponsive) and quality issues with two separate models I would caution against considering Longines purchases. That's my biased opinion based on real life observation.

The Chinese have duplicated the ETA 6497!
Like we didn't know this was going to happen! :DThis watch from Alpha is quite big at 45mm-And it should be, considering that it houses aChinese copy of a Swiss pocket watch movement-Pics from Alpha's web siteAccuracy and long term reliability remains to be seen. The original ETA/Unitas 6497-

Hello All,I have posted a couple of times on here already but thought it would be good to introduce myself and my watches.I am relatively new to Rolex - have just recently got hold of a Sub ss date - and a Milgauss (white) - definitely have the bug and am in love with the brand - not good for the wallet but hehI've always enjoyed spending not saving & my wife only encourages me! I am now saving for the YM Steel/Platinum. Question about Buying from a ¡°Grey Dealer¡±
Hey Guys. Recently bought a ¡°HULK¡± from a local AD. They were very friendly, service was great and ended up only waiting a month for it while paying MSRP.Now, I cant stop thinking about my grail watch which happens to be the Yachtmaster 2. The Local AD has the older Blue Hands in stock but would have to order the New Mercedes Hands.Question I have is there is a dealer (In NJ) ¡°Labelle Jewelery¡± that has a brand new YM2 for $15.5 all in. I¡¯ll see if my AD can match that but don¡¯t think they¡¯ll be able to, but Whats the deal with Grey Dealers? Is there no ROLEX warranty at all?, no warranty card etc? Labelle has great reviews but when spending this much money on something I want to keep forever, is it too risky to save maybe 1k?Thanks guys!
