Breguet 3757BA/1E/9V6 wrist watches news:
Poor us who would love to wear this watch but cannot afford it (now or ever). A truly cool design that I think will appeal to a legion of watch lovers and traditionally non-watch lovers, alike. The time is told in a simple digital manner on four discs. Because there are four numerals (assume it said like 11:25 for the full four numbers). And this is why the brand is called 4N. I think it is sort of funny how brands come about with a plan of just selling one watch. Basically, all future 4N watches can only have 4 numerals right? You see this type of one watch brand pretty often in the watch world. Once in a while, the brand does well enough to make more models. The model name of the watch is something a bit weird like 4N-MVT01/D01/42 - at least I think. I am just going to call it the 4N, just like I call the Cabestan Vertical Tourbillon Winch watch, the Cabestan watch. Inside the 4N watch is the MVT01 movement. Which is not a particularly clever way of indicating that it is their first m
i used to think that the Chromometer thing was just for comercial purpose.but after my Seamaster has been running +1 secs/day for 1 month, now i undertand that a Chronometer is a superior timepiece in terms of accuracy and durability, so it should cost more.also my Rolex Daytona is a Chronometer two, i didnt noticed it cuz i only wear it on special ocations, but after 7 years without any service, it has been running +2.5 secs/day.for now on i will se a COSC watch as a superior one.of course, never a Chronometer by Lalo.thanks.
Hi all,I am now the proud owner of a Speedmaster Racing! Calibre 3330 - 326.30.40.50.02.001I already have a 2006 James Bond Seamaster Calibre 2500 - 222.26.80.00and a 2008 Seamaster Chronograph Calibre 1164 - 213.30.42.40.01.001I've always wanted a speedy, and I was instantly drawn to the light coloured dial, offset by the Black Tachymetre.Ideally I always wanted a limited edition moon watch, but to be honest the Hexalite vs Sapphire argument put me off massively, as I know how much I have scraped my Seamaster Chronograph along the wall and the glass is still immaculate. The manual winding put me off too, I think I would quickly lose interest in the winding on a daily basis !So all in all, the racing one was a good compromise for me!Not sure what to go for next! as I'm not overly keen on the DeVille or the Planet Ocean.Matt
Hi everyone. I have recently attained a slight obsession for watches, and have been looking for that perfect timepiece for me. This has led me to German watches. I have only recently found Muhle Glashutte, and I have been blown away by their collection. I am particularly interested in the Marinus (great write up on this forum by the way). I am so interested I may purchase this watch instead of the planned Sinn 857. For this reason, I have been searching the google-box high and low for any info on Muhle. There has been 2 questions I just can't find a great answer to:1) I was wondering if any of you have dealt with any of the online dealers, and have any opinions. I have purchased from Watchbuys before and they have great customer service IMO. However, Righttime has a much bigger selection. Has anyone dealt with them? Any opinions? I've read some mixed reviews about them online.2) Is there any recommended service centers in the US for Muhle, or is it recommended to send the
I've been lurking on this PP forum for a while and seriously tempted by the Aquanaut or Nautilus.....thanks to many of the enablers on here and the gorgeous pics! If i do decide to make the leap, I will probably have to sell my SubC and ExpII to fund this new 'grail' watch. So this would be my daily wearer, although I take my watch off while doing my work as a chiropractor. I would wear the watch at weekends when I am hiking with my German Shepherd and doing outdoors activities, going running in the mornings, to and from work and in the evenings at home or going out for meals etc. I wear mostly casual clothes ( I am rarely in a suit). My question is, between the Nautilus and Aquanaut, which is more suited to a daily wearer? I have read the Nautilus can be a scratch magnet? I am thinking the Aquanaut might be more robust and sporty with the rubber strap and therefore be more suitable to my lifestyle with wearing this 7 days a week. Having said this, I am slightly nervous reading about l
