A Very Rare Longines, The Reference 2160 With Mushroom Pushers 1 OF 12 Usually, I don't feature non-functioning watches but I had to make an exception for this Longines from the 1930's. You can immediately see how rare it is, with one glance at its mushroom pushers and another at the legendary 13-ZN movement with fly-back function. The downside of this watch is obviously its poor condition, from a washed-up dial to a movement that needs some serious servicing. It is evidently too special to be called a project watch

Original Omega Metal Bracelet Band Questions
I just got this watch and I know that the band is an authentic Omega, I am wondering though if it is original for this watch or was added? Thanks for your help.

Total newbie with some questions
Mostly joined this forum help out with some research. I recently rediscovered my affinity for watches, I'm not sure I'd consider myself a collector per se but I do like a good looking watch. I recently stumbled across what seemed like a really good deal on the local craigslistHere. Now the use of stock photos and vague claims of high dollar value made me suspicious (ish).I was able to locate the company's website: Here. and another website with the same logo, but different models (about the same price point though) here.Those websites look fairly legitmate so I was about to pull the trigger on that watch but I decided to check one more place and look what I found.After seeing the price on ebay I'm really glad I didn't snap up the local one for what I thought was a steal. My question is are these watches any good? Will I be getting a decent quality peice that won't turn itself into a glorified bracelet in a couple of months? Are these really $1500 watches that can be had for just over

1950's - 1960's rado 18k mens gold watch dress watch
hello people!! can anyone give me any info on this 1950's - 1960's rado mens dress watch 17 jewels, spanish day/date with 18k gold square case and band. the crystal is plastic. the serial number is on the caseback is "rado swiss 11799." i believe the movement is an "eta" with serial number 2798 107. inside the back case is stamped "rado watch co. swiss 152 18k 0.750," with a small ladies head also stamped to the right of the 0.750. the total length of the watch is 8 5/8" long by 1 1/8" wide. 18k is stamped on the clasp plate. thanks !!! steve. just added. what grade is this movement? thank you!

AP In House Chrono
Hello all, been super busy, so excuse me if we've discussed this previously.Has there been any talk of AP releasing their own chrono movement (other than simple forum chatter)? With so many other companies shying away from utilizing anything other than 'in house', it seems AP would follow suit. I'm very curious if this is a possibility in the next year or two as I'm strongly considering a 15400 purchase. However, I would actually prefer a 42mm ROO if they changed to in house movements. Call me snobby, but I just dislike the idea of dropping so much $ on a watch without in house.Thoughts?
