Breitling a1733010/f538-1ld wrist watches news:
I stumbled across a great buy on a pre-owned sub no-date. It was from a non-watch fanatic, sometimes the best deals. When I made the deal the watch was great, just serviced not long ago at Rolex, was even in the Rolex Service box. Problem was the fellow didn't know where the original box was(I know, not keeping track of the box. Anyway!). It is a Y model wouldn't that be around O2? I think it should be in the old oyster looking box with all the graphics. Could anyone tell me what should be included in the box? I am going to try to put a box set together. Would it have an anchor? I don't think it should have the Superlative seal. What manual should it have? Where might one look for a box set?Anyone's help would be appreciated.
I'm trying to have my camera around when I get a chance to watch a little telly. One of the shows we like is 'Selling New York.' I've noticed these real estate cats wear some nice watches, so I thought I would snag a photo of a typical 'signing' scene. Sure enough, the guy was wearing a Bulgary.......another Bulgary. And then I was watching my Germans this morning. I saw Maradona over there in his nice suit and diamond earrings pacing back and forth and petting his rosary. (I always wonder why so many people bother god about sports. If I can only figure out what team god likes, I'll know how to bet!) Anyway, we know that Maradona is the face of Hublot, so I got my camera ready for a wrist shot.Got the perfect shot. Here he is a little sad; and here is his Hublot Big Bang 'Euro 2008.' $15,000. He looks good in it.
Hello all, I'm not usually to be found on this side, but I have an Omega related question. My colleague has recently got back from Bahrain and usually wears a Seamaster pro, but I noticed today him wearing a chrono with the 007 logo at the seven hour marker, and 007 on the clasp. I noticed that there doesn't appear to be one of those in the collection on the omega site, is it possible that he has an ersatz one or is it a special edition only available over that part of the world? I've only been able to find pictures of a similar watch on the web being sold in India, so just wondered if it was something for the market outside Europe? I'll be able to ask him more about it when I see him next week, but I'm just impatient!
I'm planning for my #2 Patek. I have a Nautilus chrono 5980/1A as a sporty daily wearer. Now I want a dress watch from the same manufacturer. My favorites are the 5120And the 5296What I love about the 5120 is that it is what I think of when I think dress watch. Elegant and iconic, two hands and no date. It would be neat to have a micro-rotor for a change. At 35mm, I am concerned it may become too small, although I have tried it on and like it at the moment (7.5 wrist). The 5296 I have owned before and loved, but I needed the equity to secure my Nautilus (no regrets!) and traded it. I love the size. I also love the flexibility in terms of wardrobe: it dresses up nicely on a shiny black strap, and looks good with jeans and a polo shirt when it has a matte chestnut brown strap on it. My other minor concern is resale. Chances are I'll add cash/watches to it to upgrade to a 5205 down the road. Thanks to all who advise saving up for what I want but what I want at the moment is one of these Cal
There's only one Rolex AD in Arkansas and I've been afraid to go in because I thought it might be difficult to come back out without an incoming. I thought today would be a good day to go in and at least introduce myself. First off, the sales rep did a good job of reading me. I'm not from the south and it's quite obvious by my accent. She was very nice but didn't push anything. I told her I'm interested in a steel GMT and also wanted to try on a DD36 to see if it seemed too small for my wrist (note to self, it was). They only had the YG GMT, but she said there was not a waitlist for the BLNR if I wanted to order one. Then she said she expects an impending price increase (usually in May or October). I anticipated she would say this after reading these forums for the past few months. Then she went in the back to get me a catalog and I noticed a pair of gentlemen (perhaps father and son) at the other end of the rolex counter. They wanted to know what the absolute cheapest rolex
